American workers were discriminated against by this awful scheme from outsourcing companies

The H-1B visa program was supposed to bring the world's best talent to America.

Instead, it's become a weapon used against American workers.

And American workers were discriminated against by this awful scheme from outsourcing companies.

LanceSoft loves to talk about "diversity, equality, and inclusivity" while claiming it embraces "people of any race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender identity, and sexual orientation."

But when the IT staffing firm posted a $60-per-hour technical support job in Santa Clara, California, one group was explicitly banned from applying: American citizens.

Companies put "No Americans Need Apply" in actual job postings

LanceSoft recruiter Riyaz Ansari didn't even try to hide what the company was doing.

Right there in the job posting on IT aggregator Nvoids, under "Visa requirement," Ansari laid out the rules.

"Candidates must hold an active H1B visa," the November 25 posting stated.

Then came the part that should make your blood boil: "No USC/GC for this role."

USC stands for United States Citizen, and GC means green card holder.

So that's industry code for "no Americans allowed — period."

Let that sink in for a second.

An American company advertising an American job on an American website explicitly told Americans they need not apply.

And LanceSoft isn't some sketchy fly-by-night operation.

The firm is a certified Minority Business Enterprise, giving it preferential treatment for government contracts paid with your tax dollars.

City Colleges of Chicago handed LanceSoft a contract after the company met MBE requirements.

So you're paying these people to discriminate against you.

That's not just offensive — it's flat-out illegal under federal law.

The scheme goes far beyond one company

LanceSoft got caught, but the company represents just the tip of a massive iceberg.

The Washington Free Beacon found over two dozen job postings since 2024 that explicitly bar American citizens from applying.

These ads appeared on major platforms including Glassdoor and LinkedIn, meaning the companies weren't even trying to hide their illegal discrimination.

One recruiter posted on LinkedIn that a Chicago IT job was open to "any visa" but "no USC" — meaning no U.S. citizens need apply.

Texas-based IT firm Kasmo stated plainly on Glassdoor that "NO US Citizen" could apply for a job training program.

The company added "Need … H1,GC" — meaning only visa holders welcome.

Kasmo's entire leadership appears to be Indian nationals.

Yet the company's website proclaims "diversity is our strength."

Apparently that "diversity" doesn't include Americans.

Software company Realign posted on Glassdoor that it wouldn't accept "USC" — U.S. citizens — for a six-figure role.

Equal Employment Opportunity Commission Chair Andrea Lucas called out exactly this kind of discrimination last month.

"Evidence of discriminatory job ads can include ads that say the employer prefers or requires applicants from a particular country or with a particular visa status (for example, 'H-1B preferred' or 'H-1B only')," the EEOC warned.¹

Lucas told the Free Beacon the problem is widespread and getting worse.

"A shocking number of covered entities, especially recruiters, continue to express explicit preferences for visa guest workers," Lucas explained. "In the shadows of under-enforcement, this type of discrimination has festered."²

Translation: Companies have been getting away with this for years because nobody was watching.

Minority-owned firms cash government checks while excluding Americans

Here's where the scam gets even more infuriating.

Many companies discriminating against American workers are run by Indian nationals, who made up 70 percent of H-1B visa holders in 2024.³

That demographic profile lets them claim Minority Business Enterprise status, giving them preferential access to government contracts.

Empower Professionals holds MBE certification and has posted multiple ads since 2024 that appear to bar U.S. citizens.

Another MBE-certified company, Tekgence, posted an ad for a Java developer that said "No USC" — banning American citizens from applying.

State and local governments set aside huge contract percentages specifically for minority businesses.

So these companies collect taxpayer money through diversity programs while openly discriminating against American workers.

Dan Morenoff of the American Civil Rights Project nailed the hypocrisy.

"It shows real brass to so publicly keep using government money to violate government law," Morenoff stated.⁴

LanceSoft yanked its discriminatory posting within 24 hours after the Free Beacon started asking questions, but recruiter Riyaz Ansari refused to comment.

Empower Professionals, Tekgence, and Kasmo also went silent when reporters came calling.

These companies know exactly what they're doing.

They just thought nobody would care enough to stop them.

Trump Administration finally cracks down on visa fraud

The H-1B visa program was created in 1990 to let American companies hire highly skilled foreign workers when they couldn't find qualified Americans to fill specialty jobs in fields like technology and medicine.

At least, that's what Congress promised when they created it.

For years, the program operated in the shadows while companies abused it to replace American workers with cheaper foreign labor.

The Biden Administration looked the other way.

President Trump is taking a very different approach.

Trump slapped a $100,000 fee on new H-1B petitions filed after September 21, 2025 to stop the bleeding.⁵

The Department of Labor launched "Project Firewall" — a coordinated effort with the EEOC and Justice Department to go after employers discriminating against Americans.

"The EEOC is here to protect all workers from unlawful national origin discrimination — including American workers," Chair Lucas declared.⁶

"Unlawful bias against American workers, in violation of Title VII, is a large-scale problem in multiple industries nationwide," she continued.

DOJ Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights Harmeet Dhillon made clear this is a top priority, stating the department has "numerous open investigations into hiring practices that discriminate against American citizens, and the list continues to grow."⁷

The Justice Department already proved it's serious about enforcement.

Meta paid $25 million in 2023 for "using recruiting methods designed to deter U.S. workers from applying to certain positions."

Technology recruiter Epik Solutions settled this year after reserving jobs exclusively for H-1B holders.

Congress created the H-1B program in 1990 to help companies hire immigrants when qualified Americans weren't available.

That was the theory, anyway.

In reality, the program became a pipeline for cheap foreign labor that lets companies pay below-market wages.

The employer-sponsored visa ties workers to their jobs, which means they can't leave for better pay.

That gives companies every incentive to hire H-1B candidates even when plenty of qualified Americans are ready to work.

Now you can see the scheme has gone even further than anyone imagined.

These companies aren't just preferring foreign workers over Americans.

They're explicitly banning Americans from applying while collecting government contracts through minority business programs.

They're taking your tax dollars to discriminate against you.

And they've been doing it out in the open because nobody was enforcing the law.

Chair Lucas said these violations have been "festering in the shadows of under-enforcement."

Well, the Trump Administration just turned on the lights.

Companies that thought they could discriminate against American workers while preaching diversity are about to face the consequences.

The days of putting "No Americans Need Apply" in job postings are over.
