Left-wing activist groups manufacture townhall protests against DOGE
SpaceX CEO Elon Musk and his team at the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) have the Washington, D.C. establishment shaken to the core.
President Donald Trump is making the biggest attempt to slash the federal bureaucracy in decades with the help of DOGE.
Democrats and their media allies have decided to attack Musk and DOGE as a way of getting to Trump.
Representative Rich McCormick (R-GA) held a town hall for his House district in suburban Atlanta, Georgia.
The media portrayed the town hall as being packed with angry constituents who complained about DOGE and Trump’s cuts to the federal government.
McCormick represents a heavily Republican district that Trump won with more than 21% of the vote.
CBS News and other media outlets portrayed this as a massive backlash against Trump and cuts to government spending that even deep red districts were filled with angry protestors.
Media reports came in from other town halls held by House Republicans across the country with similar stories of angry protestors.
But this wasn’t an organic protest.
Left-wing activists infiltrated McCormick’s town hall to protest and create a media narrative.
Democrat activist Maggie Goldman was cited in the CBS News report on the protests as a concerned citizen.
She’s no ordinary constituent of McCormick’s.
Goldman organized volunteers for former Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg’s 2020 Presidential campaign.
Federal campaign finance records show she donated $1,500 to former Vice President Kamala Harris last year.
Goldman bragged on her Facebook page about organizing a protest against McCormick and the national media attention it drew.
The media used this to create a fake narrative that there was a growing backlash to Trump.
George Soros-affiliated groups participate in town halls
Globalist billionaire George Soros funded two groups, Indivisible and Moveon.org, that were behind the protests at town halls held by House Republicans.
MoveOn boasted about its plans to disrupt town halls held with protestors.
The group said its “members and allies will show up at congressional-led town halls and congressional offices around the country, targeting House Republicans whose votes will be crucial in opposing Trump and Musk’s harmful policies.”
MoveOn is a left-wing activist group that dates back to Bill Clinton’s Presidency.
Indivisible put up instructions on its website for its members to find town halls and offered them a “Musk or Us Recess Toolkit.”
Democrats and their media allies are terrified of cuts to the government and taxpayer money being shut off to left-wing nonprofits.
DOGE exposed that the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) was funding left-wing nonprofits domestically and abroad.
The stories about the protests were designed to spook RINO squishes in Congress to back off supporting DOGE and government spending cuts.
Rich McCormick said after the town hall that he was concerned that “we’re moving a little bit too fast” with spending cuts.
