A washed-up rock band frontman thought he could get away with attacking millions of Americans.
His anti-Trump rant crossed every line imaginable.
And a rock star just made the most insane demand of Trump supporters that will leave you furious.
Red Jumpsuit Apparatus singer declares war on Trump voters
The lead singer of the alternative rock band "The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus" decided to throw away half his potential audience with one unhinged video rant.
Frontman Ronnie Winter posted a shocking declaration on the band’s official Instagram page that permanently banned Trump supporters from attending their concerts.
"If you voted for Donald Trump, do not come to my shows — forever, not just like these four years," Winter snarled in the video.
But Winter wasn’t content to just attack Trump voters in general.
He specifically targeted Christian Trump supporters with even more vicious language.
"If you’re Christian and you voted for Donald Trump, shame on you. You are not allowed to come to my shows. I don’t want you there. Don’t come to my shows," Winter declared.
The rock star’s anti-Christian bigotry didn’t stop there.
Winter mocked Christian Trump supporters by claiming they couldn’t handle hearing "the actual words of Jesus" at his concerts.
"Do not come to my shows because you’re going to hear a lot of propaganda, and you’re going to hear like the actual words of Jesus," Winter ranted.
Winter’s arrogance reached peak levels when he told Trump supporters that their money wasn’t welcome.
"You’re going to see a lot of acceptance from all areas of life and races, and um, you’re just going to see a lot of harmony, OK? That’s not what you’re about, OK? Don’t come. Refunds are available. Forever, don’t come. Goodbye," Winter said.
Washed-up rocker thinks he’s bigger than his hit song
Winter’s ego got the better of him when he tried to claim ownership over his band’s biggest success.
The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus is essentially a one-hit wonder, with their 2006 song "Face Down" being their only real claim to fame.
But Winter apparently thinks he can dictate who gets to enjoy the music that made him relevant.
"It’s awesome that you love ‘Face Down’; it’s not for you. It’s not your song, OK? It is not your song," Winter told Trump supporters.
The band hasn’t even released an album since 2018, yet Winter acts like he’s still some major force in the music industry.
Most Americans probably had to Google "The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus" just to remember who they were after hearing about Winter’s meltdown.
But Winter doubled down on his woke credentials, proudly declaring that being "woke" means staying permanently angry and divisive.
"Look man, the thing about being woke is you’re awake, and once you’re awake you can never go to sleep," Winter explained.
He then claimed that all the "woke people’s" predictions about Trump have supposedly come true.
"Not only has nothing changed, but everything they said was going to happen – the woke people – has happened. You have done nothing but prove them right," Winter stated.
Liberal musicians wage war on half of America
Winter joins a growing list of has-been musicians who think attacking Trump supporters will somehow revive their fading careers.
Classic rock legend Bruce Springsteen has made anti-Trump rants a regular fixture of his current world tour.
"In my home, the America I love, the America I’ve written about, that has been a beacon of hope and liberty for 250 years, is currently in the hands of a corrupt, incompetent and treasonous administration," Springsteen told crowds on multiple legs of his latest tour.
Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello recently said "F— that guy" in reference to Trump at a Boston music festival.
Even Neil Young wrote on his website that he was worried Trump could somehow detain him during his next American tour.
These aging rockers seem to think that insulting the 77 million Americans who voted for Trump is somehow a winning business strategy.
Trump supporters have the last laugh
What these woke musicians don’t seem to understand is that Trump supporters have plenty of other entertainment options.
Country music, which largely embraces conservative values, continues to dominate the charts and sell out massive venues across America.
Artists like Jason Aldean, Chris Stapleton, and Luke Combs regularly fill stadiums with fans who share traditional American values.
Meanwhile, woke rock bands like The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus struggle to fill small clubs in liberal cities.
Winter’s tantrum is likely just a desperate attempt to generate publicity for a band that most people forgot existed years ago.
But insulting potential customers is rarely a smart business move, regardless of your political views.
Trump supporters have shown they’re perfectly capable of supporting artists who respect them and their values.
The tolerance crowd shows its true colors
Winter’s rant perfectly exposes the hypocrisy of the so-called "tolerance" movement.
He claims his shows will feature "acceptance from all areas of life and races" and "harmony," yet he’s literally banning people based on their political beliefs.
Real tolerance means accepting that people can have different political views while still enjoying the same music.
But for woke activists like Winter, tolerance is a one-way street that only applies to people who think exactly like them.
The irony is that Winter is demonstrating the exact kind of divisive behavior he claims to oppose.
By attacking Christians and Trump supporters, Winter is creating the very disharmony he says he wants to eliminate.
Americans reject celebrity political lectures
Winter’s meltdown comes at a time when Americans are increasingly fed up with celebrities who think their fame gives them special political authority.
Trump’s victory in 2024 was partly a rejection of the Hollywood elite who spent years lecturing ordinary Americans about their political choices.
Voters sent a clear message that they don’t need entertainment figures telling them how to think or vote.
Musicians like Winter apparently haven’t gotten that message yet.
They continue to believe that their ability to play instruments somehow makes them qualified to judge the moral worth of their fellow Americans.
But most Americans just want to enjoy music without having to endure political sermons from performers who live in elite bubbles.
The market will decide Winter’s fate
Ultimately, Winter has every right to ban whoever he wants from his concerts.
And Trump supporters have every right to spend their entertainment dollars elsewhere.
Given that Trump won the popular vote by millions, Winter is essentially telling the majority of Americans that their money isn’t welcome.
That seems like a questionable business decision for a band that’s already struggling for relevance.
But Winter’s rant will likely accomplish exactly what he intended – generating headlines and social media buzz for a forgotten band.
Whether that translates into actual ticket sales among his increasingly narrow target audience remains to be seen.
Trump supporters, meanwhile, can continue enjoying the vast array of entertainment options that don’t come with political lecture requirements.
The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus just made their own irrelevance complete.
