Democrats have lost all respect for the civil rights enshrined in the Constitution.
The party’s Presidential ticket is ready to crack down on their political opponents.
And a law professor sounded the alarm on the Harris-Walz plan to shred the Constitution.
Kamala Harris and Tim Walz don’t believe in free speech
Vice President Kamala Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, pose a major threat to free speech if they win the election.
Walz lies through his teeth during his stump speech when he says, “Mind your own damn business.”
George Washington University constitutional law professor Jonathan Turley warned that the greatest threat from a Harris-Walz administration would be against free speech.
The Biden-Harris administration made using the power of government part of its political strategy.
“Harris has long supported anti-free speech policies. The addition of Walz completes a perfect nightmare for free speech advocates. Walz has shown not only a shocking disregard for free speech but a shocking lack of understanding of the First Amendment,” Turley wrote in an op-ed for The Hill.
A lawsuit filed by the Missouri and Louisiana Attorneys General revealed that multiple Biden officials were working with social media companies to remove content the administration didn’t approve of on the pandemic, the 2020 Election, and other topics.
“For over three years, the Biden-Harris administration has sustained an unrelenting attack on the freedom of speech, from supporting a massive censorship system (described by a federal court as an ‘Orwellian Ministry of Truth’) to funding blacklisting operations targeting groups and individuals with opposing views,” Turley stated.
Tim Walz doesn’t believe in the First Amendment
Walz went on MSNBC and used a made-up definition of the First Amendment favored by Democrats.
“There’s no guarantee to free speech on misinformation or hate speech, and especially around our democracy,” Walz ranted.
Misinformation is any speech the Left doesn’t like that paints the target for censorship and for the media to discredit it.
It’s been used to censor topics like the pandemic, climate change, and transgenderism.
Many Democrats like Walz falsely claim the First Amendment doesn’t protect hate speech which is a lie.
Hate speech is a made-up term by Democrats.
A Harris-Walz administration would double down on censorship schemes employed by President Joe Biden.
“President Biden made censorship a central part of his legacy, even accusing social media companies of ‘killing people’ for failing to increase levels of censorship,” Turley continued. “Democrats in Congress pushed that agenda by demanding censorship on subjects ranging from climate change to gender identity — even to banking policy — in the name of combatting ‘disinformation.’”
Harris has supported Biden every step of the way as their administration tried to silence political opponents.
Turley warned the Harris-Walz ticket was the most hostile to free speech in more than 200 years.
“With the addition of Walz, Democrats now have arguably the most anti-free speech ticket of a major party in more than two centuries. Both candidates are committed to using disinformation, misinformation and malinformation as justifications for speech controls,” Turley explained.
Kamala Harris and Tim Walz can’t win the argument so their administration would try to muzzle their political opponents.
