Charlie Kirk built Turning Point USA into a force on college campuses before his assassination.
Now the organization keeps expanding on high school campuses nationwide, carrying on his mission.
And one Maryland Democrat just tried to shut down a student chapter using a dirty trick that should terrify every parent in America.
She Stood Up And Bragged About What She Did
Nancy Krause walked to the microphone at the Calvert County Board of Education meeting on February 12.
She turned to face the crowd of parents and students.
Then she announced – with obvious pride – that she'd filed a report with Child Protective Services against teenagers who attended a December Turning Point USA event.
The student president of the group had just finished defending himself against online accusations.
He's 17 years old.
He explained that every student had parental permission to attend, that only known parents and volunteers were allowed inside, and that unknown adults were turned away for security.
Krause didn't care about any of that.
"Students Are Vulnerable And Susceptible To Influence"
That's what she told the school board.
Students attending a conservative event are "vulnerable" and need protection from the state.
She claimed serving food and drinks to attract teenagers constituted a danger.
Not letting random strangers into a student event violated "transparency," according to Krause.
Then came her big moment.
"All Board of Education members in this room are mandated reporters under state law, as I am," Krause declared.
"Based on the circumstances surrounding this event, a report was made to Child Protective Services."
She said it like she'd just caught someone abusing children instead of what actually happened – teenagers ate pizza and talked about freedom.
The 17-year-old president had already explained he can't groom anyone because he's literally a child himself.
He has no criminal record.
Parents signed permission slips.
It was about punishing families for teaching their kids the wrong politics.
Democrats Are Coming For Your Kids
A Democrat sees teenagers discussing American values and thinks "I should report their parents to Child Protective Services."
Not because anyone got hurt.
Because she disagrees with what they're learning.
Democrats lectured America for eight years that Trump would weaponize government against his enemies.
Then Biden spent four years actually doing it – targeting parents at school board meetings, siccing the FBI on Catholics, prosecuting political opponents.
Trump's first executive order after winning in 2024 had to specifically address ending the weaponization of federal agencies.
Now we're watching the same tactic at the local level.
Krause just showed every parent in Maryland what happens when you let your kids join conservative student groups – some Democrat busybody calls the state on you.
CPS caseworkers investigate 3.5 million children every year, according to Health and Human Services data.
They're already drowning in cases.
Every fraudulent call from someone like Krause pulls investigators away from kids actually being beaten or starved.
She took a system designed to rescue children from genuine monsters and turned it into her personal political weapon.
Legal experts note Maryland can penalize people for filing frivolous CPS reports.
Krause should be first in line.
Democrats Lecture About Democracy While Calling CPS On Teenagers
Democrats claim conservatives want to use government power to crush dissent.
Then a Democrat stands up at a public meeting and announces she reported teenagers to state authorities for attending a conservative event.
Democrats think schools should transition kids without telling parents.
They defend drag shows in elementary schools and push sex education starting in kindergarten.
But a 17-year-old starting a Turning Point chapter requires CPS intervention.
Maryland families now have to calculate whether teaching their children conservative values might trigger an investigation.
Not from criminals or abusers.
From their neighbors who disagree with their politics.
This is using children as weapons in a political war.
Democrats like Nancy Krause just showed they have no problem doing exactly that.
