The radical Left showed their true colors when they erupted in violence over immigration enforcement.
They resorted to attacking law enforcement to stop ICE from doing their jobs.
And a California sheriff exposed the ugly reality behind anti-ICE riots that left Democrats scrambling.
Anti-ICE rioters turned violent against law enforcement
The woke mob completely lost their minds over immigration enforcement operations.
What started as protests against Immigration and Customs Enforcement raids in Los Angeles turned into full-scale riots that put law enforcement officers in danger.
Los Angeles County Sheriff Robert G. Luna delivered a bombshell announcement that exposed just how violent these so-called "peaceful protests" have become.
Luna revealed that nearly a dozen deputies were injured during the ongoing riots that began on June 6.
The sheriff made it clear that these weren’t just ordinary protests gone wrong.
"We have been encountering some interesting weapons out there," Luna told reporters. "There is a big difference between the peaceful protesters and the individuals who are coming out with weapons to attack our folks."
The weapons being used against law enforcement officers include rocks, Molotov cocktails, and what Luna described as "high-grade pyrotechnics."
These aren’t peaceful demonstrators exercising their First Amendment rights.
These are violent criminals who want to hurt police officers for doing their jobs.
Democrats refuse to condemn the violence
The mainstream media and Democrat politicians have been doing everything they can to downplay the violence in Los Angeles.
They keep calling these riots "peaceful protests" even as law enforcement officers are being attacked with explosives and other weapons.
Los Angeles Police Chief Jim McDonnell had to issue a stern warning to the rioters ahead of planned nationwide protests.
"If you come to our city with the intent to commit crimes, damage property or harm others, including our officers, you will be arrested," McDonnell stated. "We will not allow violence, vandalism or threats to public safety to undermine the rights of those who are demonstrating lawfully."
McDonnell also revealed that hundreds of people have already been arrested since the riots began.
The city had to implement a curfew to try to restore order after the violence got out of control.
California Highway Patrol troopers are on active patrol throughout the state looking for areas of concern.
There’s also a focus on protecting state infrastructure from the violent mob.
The real agenda behind the riots
This isn’t really about immigration enforcement.
The radical Left is trying to use violence and intimidation to stop President Trump from implementing his America First agenda.
They know that securing the border is popular with the American people.
So instead of winning the debate through democratic means, they’re resorting to the tactics of thugs and criminals.
Sheriff Luna made it clear that law enforcement won’t be intimidated by these violent agitators.
"It’s a good cause, but we do not want violent agitators out there destroying property or committing acts of violence specifically against our police officers, deputy sheriffs and CHP officers," Luna explained.
The sheriff reminded everyone that his deputies "have and continue to face a dangerous situation out there."
These brave men and women in uniform are risking their lives to keep communities safe while radical leftists attack them with weapons.
Trump’s immigration enforcement is working
Despite the violent opposition from the woke mob, President Trump’s immigration enforcement operations are succeeding.
ICE has been conducting raids in Los Angeles and surrounding counties to remove dangerous criminals from American communities.
The radical Left doesn’t want these operations to succeed because they prefer open borders and sanctuary cities that protect criminal illegal aliens.
But the American people voted for Trump to secure the border and remove dangerous criminals from their neighborhoods.
No amount of rioting and violence will stop President Trump from keeping his promises to the American people.
The contrast couldn’t be clearer.
On one side, you have law enforcement officers doing their jobs to keep communities safe.
On the other side, you have violent criminals attacking police with Molotov cocktails and explosives.
The American people can see which side is really fighting for justice and which side is embracing chaos and lawlessness.
Sheriff Luna and his deputies deserve our support for standing up to these violent agitators.
