Leftists have escalated their fear tactics about immigration enforcement.
One left-wing cable news network host just crossed a dangerous line with the latest wild conspiracy theory.
And her cable network stunned viewers with this terrifying prediction about who Trump will deport next.
MSNBC host claims “people of color” will be targeted next after illegal immigrant deportations
MSNBC host Symone Sanders-Townsend made an alarming claim during her show The Weekend on Saturday that went beyond typical media hysteria about President Trump’s immigration enforcement.
While discussing the case of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, a 29-year-old illegal immigrant from El Salvador who was deported last month, Sanders-Townsend suggested that American citizens who are “people of color” would be the next targets of deportation.
“If they can do it to them, if they can snatch students off the street without any pushback or recourse, they will do it to any of us,” Sanders-Townsend declared on her show. “To be very clear, it’s going to be the people of color, and vulnerable communities that are next in line.”
The stunning statement came during a segment featuring Democrat Representative Glen Ivey of Maryland and former RNC Chairman Michael Steele.
Rep. Ivey eagerly agreed with the host’s inflammatory claim, stating, “That’s certainly part of why the African-American community is so strongly behind supporting Kilmar. As you just said, if they are going to whisk them away, what are they going to do with us?”
Sanders-Townsend also referenced an op-ed by NAACP Legal Defense Fund President Janai Nelson that dramatically claimed the Trump administration’s “lawlessness” demonstrates how democracies are dismantled “brick by brick.”

The truth about Abrego Garcia’s deportation
While Sanders-Townsend and her guests were busy pushing this fearful narrative, they conveniently glossed over important details about Abrego Garcia’s case.
The illegal immigrant was deported to El Salvador’s “Terrorism Confinement Center” (CECOT) megaprison last month. Though officials initially acknowledged in court that his deportation was an “administrative error,” top Trump administration officials later stated he was correctly removed and alleged he has ties to the notorious MS-13 gang.
Abrego Garcia’s attorneys have denied these gang connections.
Fox News has reported that police records exposed Abrego Garcia as a “violent” repeat wife beater, though this crucial information was entirely absent from the MSNBC discussion.
Supreme Court temporarily blocks some deportations
The inflammatory MSNBC segment aired just after the Supreme Court ruled to temporarily block the Trump administration from deporting Venezuelan migrants under the Alien Enemies Act of 1798.
President Trump has invoked this wartime law to target terrorist organizations like Tren de Aragua (TdA) residing in the U.S. for deportation.
The administration has been clear that their enforcement efforts are focused on removing dangerous criminals and gang members who entered the country illegally, not targeting American citizens as Sanders-Townsend suggested.
Media hysteria reaches new heights
Sanders-Townsend’s comments represent a dangerous escalation in the rhetoric from mainstream media figures opposed to President Trump’s immigration enforcement.
By suggesting that American citizens could be rounded up and deported based on their skin color, the MSNBC host is pushing a conspiracy theory designed to frighten viewers and stoke racial tensions.
This type of sensationalist claim ignores the fundamental legal differences between American citizens and those who have entered the country illegally, as well as the administration’s stated focus on removing criminal elements that pose a threat to public safety.
The American people elected President Trump with a clear mandate to secure the border and enforce immigration laws. The desperate attempts by media figures to paint these common-sense policies as something sinister reveals just how disconnected they are from the concerns of everyday Americans.
