The View is the Democrats’ propaganda outlet on daytime TV.
That is coming to an end.
And Joy Behar got some bad news about The View that meant fake news was over.
FCC launches probe into The View over equal time violations
The Federal Communications Commission launched an investigation into ABC’s The View after Texas Democrat Senate candidate James Talarico appeared on the show Monday.
A source at the FCC told Fox News Digital that Talarico’s appearance triggered the probe because ABC never filed equal-time paperwork with the commission.
ABC’s parent company Disney didn’t make an equal-time filing which signals the network believes The View qualifies as bona fide news programming exempt from equal time rules.
Talarico received nine minutes of airtime in one segment while his top Democratic primary rival Rep. Jasmine Crockett got 17 minutes across three segments during her appearance last month.
The FCC source said ABC must provide equal time not just to Republican candidates like incumbent Senator John Cornyn but also to little-known Democrat Ahmad Hassan who’s running against Talarico and Crockett in the primary.
That means The View just gave away free campaign ads they now have to match for every other candidate in the race.
“Fake news is not getting a free pass anymore,” the source told Fox News Digital.
The View’s radical partisan bias finally catches up with them
Studies proved what conservatives knew all along.
The View featured 102 liberal guests in the first half of 2025 without booking a single conservative to discuss politics.
Not one.
The Media Research Center documented that 100% of politicians appearing on The View were Democrats.
Original co-host Debbie Matenopoulos said the show was never supposed to be political when Barbara Walters launched it in 1997.
“It was just meant to be like here’s your mom, your grandmother, your aunt, your cousin, your sister and your young sister all sitting there chatting about the same topic,” Matenopoulos explained.
Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg turned the program into an unregistered Democrat super PAC.
The View exists to push Democrat talking points out to a daytime audience while giving liberal politicians free airtime worth millions in campaign ads.
Now FCC Chairman Brendan Carr is making them pay up.
Trump’s FCC chair drops the hammer on left-wing media bias
The equal opportunity requirement dates back to the 1950s when Congress passed laws preventing broadcast stations from manipulating elections.
Networks traditionally claimed their talk shows qualified as “bona fide news” programming exempt from equal time rules.
Carr isn’t buying it.
“On my watch, we’re going to enforce this regulation,” Carr told Fox News Digital.
Networks can either put Republicans on news programs or air their campaign ads as a supplement.
But here’s the problem for Joy Behar and The View.
Booking Republicans means watching them defend Trump and conservative policies on air.
Running Republican campaign ads means giving up lucrative commercial time.
Either option is a nightmare for a show built on attacking Trump.
Liberal hosts throw tantrum over having to follow the law
The crackdown extends beyond The View to late-night shows dominated by Democrat guests.
Jimmy Kimmel called the enforcement a “threat” while Stephen Colbert claimed the FCC was attempting to “silence” him.
Carr brushed off their complaints with a zinger.
“I didn’t get a chance to see Kimmel or Colbert live,” Carr said. “I don’t have difficulty falling asleep on my own.”
He added that hosts objecting to the law can ask Congress to change it.
“But my job is to apply it,” Carr said.
The law has been on the books for 70 years.
Networks simply ignored it because nobody enforced it.
Daniel Suhr who heads the Center for American Rights cheered Carr’s enforcement.
“This FCC notice is an important step toward accountability for these legacy network shows,” Suhr wrote on X.
Democrat FCC Commissioner Anna Gomez attacked the crackdown as “an escalation in this FCC’s ongoing campaign to censor and control speech.”
That’s rich coming from the party that weaponized government agencies against conservatives for years.
The View either needs to book Republicans and give them equal time or admit they’re not a news program.
Democrats spent decades rigging the system to give themselves exclusive access to broadcast airwaves.
Now they’re getting a taste of what equal treatment actually looks like.
And Joy Behar’s worst nightmare is just getting started.
