Liberal comedian Bill Maher has made a career out of attacking conservatives.
But one Louisiana Senator just stopped him cold.
And John Kennedy silenced Bill Maher with this brutal truth about Biden's lawfare.
Senator Kennedy Gets Standing Ovation From Maher's Leftist Audience
Senator John Kennedy (R-LA) showed up on Bill Maher's Real Time and did something remarkable.
He got Maher's leftist audience cheering for him.
Kennedy started by stating what everyone knows but Democrats won't admit: "President Biden, for the first time in this country's history, prosecuted a former president, a former opponent, who was his current opponent."
Maher tried to jump in with the usual excuses.
Kennedy wasn't having it.
"He unleashed spirits he could not control," Kennedy fired back.
The audience erupted in applause.
Maher scrambled to defend Biden by bringing up January 6 and the classified documents cases.
"It was the first time we did that, it was also the first time that something PROMPTED us to do that!" Maher argued.
Kennedy cut through that nonsense.
The prosecution wasn't about justice.
It was about politics.
Kennedy Exposes The Double Standard Democrats Won't Acknowledge
"They allege that President Trump defrauded the American people," Kennedy explained about Special Counsel Jack Smith's charges.
Then Kennedy asked the question that left Maher stammering.
"How about when President Obama said if you like your insurance, you can keep your insurance? Is that fraud?"
Maher tried to claim Obama's lie was just normal political dishonesty.
"No, come on…it wasn't the best thing he ever said, and it turned out not be completely true. It's well within the realm of political—" Maher tried to say.
Kennedy cut him off with an even more devastating point.
"How about the people around President Biden who hid, studiously and successfully, the fact that he had a neurodegenerative disease? Should they be prosecuted?"
Maher had no answer.
The comedian just got caught defending a standard that only applies when Democrats want to jail Republicans.
The FBI Targeted Conservative Groups Under Biden's Orders
Kennedy's appearance came days after Senator Chuck Grassley exposed how the FBI under Biden targeted nearly 100 Republican groups.
Charlie Kirk's Turning Point USA was on that list.
President Trump called out the weaponization: "They tried to force Charlie, and many other people and movements, out of business. They Weaponized the Justice Department against Sleepy Joe Biden's Political Opponents, including ME!"
Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill put it bluntly: "They already went after Catholics and people of faith, so it's not surprising they weaponized the government to go after political adversaries and conservative organizations."
The Biden administration didn't just prosecute Trump.
They launched investigations into conservative groups across the country who dared to support Trump and challenge Democrat power.
Jack Smith spent years building cases against Trump while Biden's DOJ targeted Republican state officials and conservative activists.
House Speaker Kevin McCarthy called it "unconscionable for a President to indict the leading candidate opposing him."
Biden set a precedent that Democrats will regret.
Kennedy showed Maher and his audience that if defrauding the American people is grounds for prosecution, then Obama and Biden's handlers should be first in line.
Democrats wanted to destroy the rule of law to stop Trump.
All they did was prove conservatives right about government weaponization.
