Minnesota Judge Exposed Dirty Trick That’s Bringing Trump’s Immigration Crackdown To Its Knees

Trump's border enforcement keeps hitting the same brick wall no matter how tough he gets.

The problem isn't weak Republicans or bad policy this time.

And a Minnesota judge exposed the dirty trick that's bringing Trump's immigration crackdown to its knees.

Left-Wing Lawyers Found A Way To Jam The Courts

In just eighteen days, left-wing immigration lawyers filed more than 300 emergency habeas corpus petitions in a single Minnesota federal court.

That's more than half of all civil cases filed in that court so far this year.

This isn't about helping illegal aliens get fair hearings.

It's classic Cloward-Piven strategy — the 1966 playbook sociologists Richard Cloward and Frances Fox Piven wrote about deliberately overwhelming government systems until they collapse.

Flood welfare offices with applications until the system breaks.

Overload courts with filings until judges can't function.

The left used this exact tactic to bankrupt New York City in 1975.

Now they're weaponizing it against Trump's immigration enforcement.

The Numbers Don't Lie

In 2025, Minnesota's federal court didn't reach civil case number 546 until February 11.

In 2026, the court hit that number on January 5.

The first business day of the year.

More than 300 of those cases were habeas corpus petitions filed by immigration lawyers in just 18 days.

That's 58% of the court's entire civil docket.

American Experiment tracked the surge and found that in the final seven and a half months of 2025, Minnesota saw 123 habeas petitions filed.

In 2026, the court hit that same number on January 13.

Seven business days into the new year.

The court barely has time to process criminal trials or issue arrest warrants now.

Just endless emergency filings claiming detained illegal aliens need immediate release.

Habeas Corpus Wasn't Meant For This

Habeas corpus is the constitutional right ensuring people can challenge unlawful detention before a judge.

It dates back to medieval English common law.

But these aren't legitimate constitutional challenges.

Democrat lawyers are trying to flood the system to overwhelm it.

Hundreds of emergency filings pour into a court simultaneously.

Judges and clerks don't have time to evaluate each case properly.

Urgency replaces scrutiny.

The government doesn't even get a chance to respond before judges start ordering releases just to keep the docket moving.

And the secrecy makes it worse.

Names are hidden, files are sealed, attorneys remain invisible.

Nobody can follow the money, track patterns, or see who's coordinating what.

The left operates in complete darkness, working against Trump unchallenged.

Texas Got Hit Even Harder

Texas saw more than 675 immigration habeas petitions filed between January and November 2025.

That's more than Trump's entire first four-year term.

Over 70% of those lawsuits came in just the last three months.

Nationally, immigration lawyers filed more than 3,300 habeas petitions in district courts in 2025.

Denise Gilman, director of the Immigration Clinic at the University of Texas, admitted she'd never seen anything like it.

More than 200 judges overseeing more than 700 cases ruled in favor of illegal aliens who filed habeas petitions.

Only eight judges denied them.

That's not a coincidence.

Immigration lawyers file emergency petitions faster than the government can respond, force judges to release detainees to clear the backlog, then do it again tomorrow.

The Nuclear Option Nobody Wants To Talk About

When local government collapses and elected officials won't restore order, the federal government has a short list of options.

The Insurrection Act and suspension of habeas corpus sit at the top of that list.

White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller already floated the idea last May.

The Constitution allows habeas corpus suspension during invasion when public safety requires it.

Democrats are betting Trump won't actually pull that trigger.

They figure he's surrounded by weak-kneed Republicans terrified of being called racists.

And such a drastic move would rattle average Americans.

Even voters fed up with chaos would flinch once the media machine kicked into overdrive with every tired Trump-is-Hitler trope.

The Left operates in shadows through courts, bureaucracy, and sabotage.

Trump's team responds in the open under a microscope.

The rules aren't fair, and that imbalance is exactly why the Left keeps winning.

But you can't save the nation by taking the easy way out.
