AOC was mad as hell after one bombshell exposed this awful scam

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and her Green New Deal allies have been pushing wind energy as the solution to climate change.

They claim it’s clean, sustainable, and necessary to save the planet.

But AOC was mad as hell after one bombshell exposed this awful scam.

Ecologists published research last month in the journal Nature that revealed the devastating ecological impact of onshore wind turbines around the world.

The paper has been largely ignored by mainstream media, which makes sense given what it reveals.

President Trump spent years warning about wind turbines killing birds and the media mocked him relentlessly for it.

Now peer-reviewed science proves he was right all along.

Trump warned everyone and the media called him crazy

During a 2019 speech at Turning Point USA, Trump told the audience about wind turbines: “You want to see a bird graveyard? Go under a windmill someday. You’ll see more birds than you’ve ever seen ever in your life.”²⁷

CBS News ran a fact-check claiming Trump’s bird death warnings were false.²⁸

CNN published an entire article titled “5 things Trump got wrong about wind turbines” to debunk his claims.²⁹

The Washington Post mocked Trump’s “bizarre rants” about wind power killing birds.³⁰

Rolling Stone called it “particularly rich” that Trump focused on protecting animals.³¹

Media outlets ran story after story insisting cats and buildings kill far more birds than wind turbines.

Trump was portrayed as an ignorant buffoon who didn’t understand energy policy.

The Nature study just proved every single one of those smug journalists wrong.

The science vindicates Trump’s warnings

Around one million bats are killed annually in countries with the highest number of turbines, according to the research.¹

The United States alone sees roughly 500,000 bats killed by wind turbines every single year.²

In the UK, 30,000 bats die annually from turbine strikes, with Canada at 50,000 and Germany reporting 200,000 deaths.³

Birds face similar carnage, with large raptors particularly vulnerable to the spinning blades.

The research warns that turbines could threaten certain bird species with local extinction, especially those with low reproduction rates.⁴

Population collapse has been predicted for cinereous and griffon vultures in Europe and the Eurasian skylark in Portugal.⁵

In California, nearly 50% of bird species evaluated in one study were found to be subject to turbine-induced population decline.⁶

Golden eagles at California’s Altamont Pass Wind Resource die so frequently that local populations are sustained only by immigrants from other areas.⁷

The globally endangered Egyptian vulture in Spain has lower survival rates, population growth rates, and overall population size in areas with wind facilities.⁸

Trump warned about eagles being killed by the hundreds and the media rushed to call him a liar.

Last year, ESI Energy was fined $8 million after admitting its turbines killed at least 150 bald and golden eagles across 40 wind energy facilities.³²

But the destruction extends far beyond birds and bats.

AOC’s Green New Deal is an environmental disaster

The ecological team found that turbines kill insects by the billions, change animal behavior and physiology, and alter entire ecosystems.⁹

Turbines sweep the countryside clean of insects, with fatalities building up as debris on the blades.¹⁰

One of the report’s authors, Professor Christian Voigt, stated it was necessary to evaluate whether insect fatalities are contributing to species extinction.¹¹

The installation of wind turbines invariably results in habitat degradation, with biodiversity-rich regions suffering the most damage.¹²

Here’s what really exposes the hypocrisy of AOC and her environmental allies.

The BP Deepwater Horizon oil spill in 2010 killed an estimated 600,000 seabirds and triggered massive condemnation from environmentalists that continues today.¹³

Environmental groups still bring up Deepwater Horizon as proof that fossil fuels destroy wildlife.

But those same groups stay conspicuously quiet about the 500,000 bats killed every single year by U.S. wind turbines alone.

That’s the equivalent of a Deepwater Horizon-level disaster for bats happening every year in America.

The UK Bat Conservation Trust actually claimed that climate change poses a “significant threat” to UK bat populations.¹⁴

The group then stated, “We need energy-efficient housing and renewable energy to help mitigate for climate change for the benefit of bats.”¹⁵

An organization supposedly dedicated to protecting bats is defending the very technology that kills 30,000 bats annually in Britain alone.

AOC’s Green New Deal calls for a massive expansion of wind energy across America.

The Nature paper notes that wind facilities are “recognised as an important driver for losses and degradation of irreplaceable habitats that are important for conservation.”²⁰

One 2021 report suggested using up to 13% of U.S. land area for wind farms, which the ecologists warned could have “dramatic consequences for biodiversity.”²³

Trump’s energy policies look smarter every day

The Trump Administration took an aggressive stance against wind energy expansion from day one.

President Trump signed an executive order on his first day in office temporarily suspending new leases for offshore and onshore wind projects.¹⁷

The Administration ordered work stopped on several nearly-completed wind farms, citing environmental concerns that the Biden Administration rushed through approvals.¹⁸

Interior Secretary Doug Burgum halted construction on the Empire Wind project off Long Island, stating the project “was rushed through by the prior administration without sufficient analysis.”¹⁹

Seventeen state attorneys general filed a lawsuit challenging Trump’s wind energy executive order, claiming it jeopardizes economic development and climate goals.²⁶

But those states that invested hundreds of millions in wind energy have conveniently ignored the ecological carnage now documented in peer-reviewed research.

During the 2020 presidential debate, Trump told Joe Biden “I know more about wind than you do” when discussing the problems with turbines.³³

Biden and the media laughed at him.

CBS News ran a fact-check after the debate claiming Trump was wrong about wind energy killing birds.³⁴

The network insisted cats and buildings were the real threat to birds, not wind turbines.

Now the science proves Trump understood the problem better than all his critics combined.

Proponents of wind power often claim that wind energy’s impacts on biodiversity will be less harmful than climate change itself.²⁴

The Nature paper found this claim “plausible” but noted the assumption remains “untested.”²⁵

Yet another untested assumption driving the destructive push toward Net Zero that Trump warned about for years.

Trump’s instincts about wind energy were right from the beginning.

The media that mocked him owes him an apology they’ll never give.
