Alvin Bragg led a relentless witch hunt against President Donald Trump.
But when it comes to prosecuting real criminals, he can’t seem to get anything right.
And Alvin Bragg just botched one criminal case against a conservative that showed his twisted priorities.
Manhattan DA lets violent leftist walk free on technicality
Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s office just handed a get-out-of-jail-free card to a woman who brutally assaulted a pro-life activist on camera – and the excuse they’re using will make your blood boil.
Brianna J. Rivers, 30, was caught on video sucker-punching pro-life YouTube personality Savannah Craven Antao during a street interview about Planned Parenthood in Harlem back in April.
The attack left the 23-year-old conservative activist emotionally traumatized with a black eye, two stitches under her eyebrow, severe pain in her nose, and more than $3,000 in medical bills.
Rivers had been facing a second-degree assault charge, but instead of facing justice, she walked away scot-free because Bragg’s office failed to turn over evidence to the defense team by the legal deadline.
The court dismissed the case in July, and here’s the kicker – Craven Antao only found out when she saw her attacker bragging about it on Instagram.
"I feel like people with real common sense know exactly what’s going on," Rivers told the New York Post with zero remorse. "She’s just fishing for more clicks and empathy and targeting me for harassment."
That’s right – the woman who threw punches at someone exercising their First Amendment rights is now playing the victim.
Bragg’s office claims it was an "accident"
The DA’s office confirmed what it called an "unacceptable error" that happened when the case got transferred to a different prosecutor.
But veteran prosecutor Diana Florence, who worked under Bragg’s predecessor and is now running against him, isn’t buying the innocent mistake narrative.
"Violence of any sort is absolutely abhorrent and should be prosecuted. Here, this was an extremely strong case – it was caught on video. There’s no question about what happened," Florence said.
She pointed out that Bragg’s "ineffective" leadership has created a system where "overwhelmed" prosecutors are left to handle complex discovery requirements without proper support.
The case would likely still be alive if Bragg cared enough to hire discovery specialists instead of leaving lawyers to fumble through paperwork, Florence insisted.
One veteran NYPD officer with 25 years on the force thinks Bragg’s office might have intentionally bungled the case because of Craven Antao’s conservative views.
"She’s like Charlie Kirk," the cop said. "She’s a pro-lifer. It wasn’t a case that Bragg and them really gave two s***s about. Something serious like this and all of a sudden you forget the paperwork?"
The attack victim plans to fight back
Craven Antao isn’t taking this lying down.
She’s working with the Chicago-based Thomas More Society to file a civil lawsuit against Rivers, since the criminal justice system failed her.
"People need to learn accountability for what is happening in this country over the last year, which is this wave of violence by left-wing activists who think that the appropriate response to an opinion they don’t like is either punching, kicking, assaulting or shooting somebody," Christopher Ferrara, senior counsel with the Thomas More Society, told the Post.
The conservative activist has dozens of screenshots showing Rivers and her supporters celebrating the assault online, with comments like "You ain’t hit that girl hard enough" and "She deserved it 1000%."
Rivers even made a rap song about the attack, blaming Craven Antao for the assault.
During the filmed interview that led to the violence, tensions escalated when Craven Antao pressed Rivers about abortion and foster care.
When the pro-life activist asked whether foster kids should be killed because "they’re not wanted," Rivers shockingly responded, "Why not?"
After more back-and-forth, Rivers suddenly said "That’s not the point," then unleashed a flurry of punches to Craven Antao’s face before storming off while flipping both middle fingers and telling the pro-lifer’s husband to "Sk my dk."
This exposes Bragg’s real agenda
Here’s what’s really going on – Alvin Bragg spent years trying to destroy Donald Trump with bogus charges while letting violent criminals run wild in Manhattan.
He’s the same prosecutor who dismissed murder charges against Tracy McCarter, who was accused of killing her husband in 2020.
Former City Councilman Joe Borelli called Bragg "the world’s worst prosecutor" and said this case hit "the trifecta of all his flaws: partisan hackery; perverted criminal justice policy; and incompetent general buffoonery."
The timing couldn’t be more telling.
While Bragg was busy weaponizing his office against Trump, he couldn’t be bothered to properly prosecute a clear-cut assault case with video evidence.
This isn’t just incompetence – it’s a deliberate pattern of protecting left-wing activists while persecuting conservatives.
Look, here’s what’s really happening.
Bragg’s office has unlimited resources when it comes to going after Trump on made-up charges, but when a conservative activist gets brutally assaulted by a leftist extremist, suddenly they can’t keep track of basic paperwork.
For folks who still believe in equal justice under the law, this should be the final straw.
The message is crystal clear – if you’re a conservative exercising your constitutional rights, don’t expect protection from Alvin Bragg’s Manhattan DA office.
But if you’re a violent leftist who wants to silence conservative voices with your fists, they’ll find a way to let you walk free.
