Conservative America just got stabbed in the back.
And it wasn’t Democrats who held the knife this time.
Four RINOs just showed their true colors by siding with Ilhan Omar to protect someone who mocked a murdered patriot.
Four RINOs Vote to Shield Ilhan Omar From Consequences
Representatives Mike Flood of Nebraska, Tom McClintock of California, Jeff Hurd of Colorado, and Cory Mills of Florida made a choice Wednesday that will haunt them for the rest of their political careers.
When the House voted on a resolution to censure Ilhan Omar for her disgusting comments about Charlie Kirk’s assassination, these four men voted with Democrats to kill it.
Let that sink in.
Four RINOs – people who were elected by conservative voters who trusted them – chose to protect a woman who cackled about the murder of one of America’s most effective conservative activists.
The vote failed 214-213, with Mills casting the deciding vote at the last second to side with Omar and the radical Left.
Representative Nancy Mace of South Carolina didn’t hold back in her response to this betrayal.
"Mike Flood, Jeff Hurd, Tom McClintock, and Cory Mills just sided with Democrats to protect Ilhan Omar," Mace posted on social media. "They voted to shield a woman who mocked the cold-blooded assassination of Charlie Kirk… A woman who belittled his grieving family…"
She concluded with words that should follow these men for the rest of their careers: "They showed us exactly who they are. Never forget it."
Fox News host Mark Levin was even more direct about what needs to happen next.
"4 disgraceful House Republicans supported Islamist Omar despite her cackling at Charlie Kirk’s assassination. All 4 need to be primaried and defeated," Levin declared.¹
Conservative radio host Joe Pags captured what millions of Americans felt watching this betrayal unfold: "It makes me sick that four republicans shirked their duty today and did NOT censure Ilhan Omar… Shame on you all!"²
These Cowards Actually Tried to Defend Their Betrayal
The most infuriating part? These four men actually had the nerve to defend their vote to protect Omar.
McClintock and Hurd both put out statements claiming they were defending "free speech" and the First Amendment.
McClintock wrote that Omar’s comments were "vile and contemptible" but claimed censuring her would somehow threaten free speech.
"A free society depends on tolerating ALL speech – even hateful speech," McClintock stated in his pathetic attempt at justification.³
Hurd called Omar’s comments "ghoulish and evil" but still voted to protect her from any consequences.
"The right response to reprehensible speech like this isn’t silencing: it’s more speech. That’s what Charlie Kirk believed and practiced, and I agree," Hurd concluded.⁴
What absolute garbage.
Here’s What These Spineless Cowards Don’t Understand
Look, nobody’s buying this phony First Amendment argument for one second.
Censuring Omar wouldn’t have sent her to jail or violated any constitutional rights. It would have been a formal statement that her behavior was unacceptable for a member of Congress.
That’s it.
But these four men couldn’t even do that much when faced with someone who mocked the assassination of a conservative hero.
You want to know what this really shows you? It shows you exactly where their loyalties lie when the chips are down.
When they had to choose between standing with the conservative movement that sent Charlie Kirk’s family death threats and political correctness, they chose political correctness every single time.
When they had to pick between defending a murdered patriot and protecting their precious "principles," they threw Charlie Kirk’s memory under the bus.
These aren’t principled stands – they’re calculated political moves by people who are more afraid of getting bad press from CNN than they are of betraying their own voters.
Here’s the thing that should make every conservative furious: Omar didn’t just make some off-color comment. She laughed about the assassination of someone who spent his life fighting for the values these four men claim to represent.
Charlie Kirk built Turning Point USA from nothing into one of the most effective conservative organizations in the country. He inspired millions of young Americans to embrace conservative principles. He was murdered for those efforts.
And when given the chance to stand up for his memory, four Republicans said "no thanks."
The Real Lesson Every Conservative Needs to Learn
This vote exposed something every conservative needs to understand: there are Republicans in Congress who will abandon you the moment it gets uncomfortable.
These four men just showed you that when push comes to shove, they value their relationships with Democrats more than their promises to conservative voters.
They care more about maintaining their "principled conservative" brand than actually fighting for the movement.
And mark my words – this won’t be the last time they stab conservatives in the back. This is who they are.
President Donald Trump called Omar "a disgraceful person" and "a loser" when she made those comments about Kirk.⁵
Four Republicans just voted to disagree with him.
The choice for conservative voters is crystal clear: these four men need to be primaried and replaced with people who will actually fight for conservative values when it matters.
Because if they won’t stand up for Charlie Kirk’s memory, they sure as hell won’t stand up for you.
