AOC blames Second Amendment supporters for Kirk’s murder
Charlie Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA, was gunned down Wednesday during one of his signature "Prove Me Wrong" events at Utah Valley University.
The 31-year-old conservative activist was doing what he did best – engaging with students and defending American values on a college campus.
Within hours of Kirk’s assassination, Democrat politicians were already plotting how to exploit his death for political gain.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez wasted no time turning Kirk’s murder into a twisted attack on law-abiding gun owners and Second Amendment supporters.
Standing in front of the Capitol building, AOC had the gall to blame the very people who had nothing to do with Kirk’s assassination.
"I don’t think a single person who has dedicated their entire career to preventing gun safety legislation from getting passed in this House has any right to blame anybody else but themselves for what is happening," AOC told reporters.
Let that sink in for a moment.
A conservative activist gets murdered by some deranged lunatic, and AOC’s first instinct is to blame the millions of Americans who believe in their constitutional right to bear arms.
The National Rifle Association and the National Shooting Sports Foundation both issued statements condemning Kirk’s assassination.
But that wasn’t enough for AOC and her fellow travelers in the radical Left.
Democrats refuse moment of silence for murdered conservative
The Democrat Party’s callous response to Kirk’s assassination got even more disgusting on the House floor.
When Republican Representative Lauren Boebert of Colorado asked for a simple prayer for the murdered conservative activist, House Democrats shouted her down.
They refused to allow even a moment of silence for a man who dedicated his life to defending conservative principles and engaging with young Americans.
Republican Representative Anna Paulina Luna of Florida, a former Director of Hispanic Outreach at TPUSA, erupted in righteous anger at her Democrat colleagues.
"Y’all caused this!" Luna shouted. "You fucking own this!"
Luna was absolutely right to call out the hypocrisy.
Democrats spent years demonizing Kirk and other conservative voices as "extremists" and "threats to democracy."
They created the toxic environment that made Kirk a target, and now they won’t even show basic human decency after his murder.
AOC also tried to connect Kirk’s assassination to the January 6th Capitol riot – because of course she did.
The radical Left’s playbook is always the same: blame Trump, blame January 6th, and blame law-abiding conservatives for the violence committed by their own side.

Look, here’s what’s really happening.
The radical Left has been waging war on conservative voices for years, and now that war has turned deadly.
They spent decades painting people like Charlie Kirk as dangerous extremists who needed to be silenced.
They cheered when Big Tech censored conservative content and when universities tried to shut down conservative speakers.
They created an environment where deranged leftists felt justified in using violence against anyone who dared to challenge their woke orthodoxy.
And now, when their rhetoric finally leads to the assassination of a conservative activist, they have the nerve to blame Second Amendment supporters?
This is beyond disgusting – it’s evil.
Charlie Kirk was a 31-year-old patriot who believed in America and wanted to engage with young people about conservative ideas.
He founded Turning Point USA when he was just 18 years old because he saw how the Left was brainwashing an entire generation of college students.
For more than a decade, Kirk traveled to campuses across the country, setting up tables and inviting students to challenge his ideas in open debate.
He believed in the power of free speech and honest dialogue – concepts that are apparently foreign to today’s Democrat Party.
Kirk also hosted "The Charlie Kirk Show," a popular podcast and radio program that reached millions of Americans hungry for conservative commentary.
He was building a movement of young conservatives who weren’t afraid to stand up for traditional American values.
And the Left hated him for it.
They couldn’t beat him in debate, so they demonized him.
They couldn’t silence his message, so they celebrated when he was silenced permanently.
