Washington, D.C. has turned into a war zone over the past few years.
But President Trump’s crackdown is delivering results that even Democrat politicians can’t ignore.

Trump’s D.C. crime surge delivers jaw-dropping results
U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro appeared on Newsmax’s Rob Schmitt Tonight to give Americans an update on President Trump’s federal crime crackdown in Washington, D.C.
The numbers are nothing short of spectacular.
More than 1,600 arrests and 168 illegal guns seized since federal agents surged into the city earlier this summer.
Violent crime is plummeting, homicides are way down, and even Democrat Mayor Muriel Bowser had to admit there’s been a 50% drop in crime.
"What you need is to remind some of these people, whether they’re young punks on the street or career criminals, that justice is coming," Pirro told host Rob Schmitt. "We are making sure that D.C. is a safe area, that the people who live, work, and visit here can feel comfortable being here."
But the most telling part of Pirro’s interview wasn’t about the crime statistics.
It was about who’s actually complaining about the crackdown – and who isn’t.
White liberals lose their minds while crime victims cheer
Pirro didn’t hold back when she called out the hypocrisy of progressive activists who are protesting Trump’s successful crime surge.
"White liberals are the ones that go the craziest over this," she said. "They don’t live in Southeast D.C., where Black residents have to shoot their way out of the grocery store. Those are the people who want the president and law enforcement there to protect their families."
The people actually getting shot at want more police protection.
The people living in their safe suburban neighborhoods are the ones screaming about "police overreach."
Pirro hammered home just how backwards this entire situation has become.
"Certainly, you hit the nail on the head when you talk about the fact that the people most affected by crime are the people who actually want the president and want law enforcement there to protect their families," she explained.
The brutal reality liberals refuse to acknowledge
Here’s where Pirro really dropped the hammer on these progressive ideologues.
She laid out the cold, hard facts that white liberals desperately want to ignore.
"And unfortunately, you’ve got these liberals and these political ideologues who are like, ‘Oh, no, we can’t have this.’ Wait — what can’t you have? Safety in the city? You can’t have law enforcement bringing law and order to a city where in the last year and eight months, 45 Black teens and some as young as 3 and 6 years old have been shot with guns and killed?"
The statistics get even more damning.
"And the clearance rate is only 29%, which means 70% of the criminals are out there with their guns continuing to do whatever it is they do."
Think about that for a second.
Seventy percent of the people shooting kids in Washington, D.C. were still walking the streets before Trump’s operation began.
But according to progressive activists, the real problem is too much law enforcement.
Only Trump figured out what actually works
Pirro cut through all the political nonsense with one simple observation.
"This is political nonsense. Only President Trump has figured it out, and in the end, he’s going to make this a shining city on the hill again."
And you know what? The results speak for themselves.
While Democrat politicians spent years wringing their hands about "root causes" and "systemic issues," Trump sent in federal agents and started arresting criminals.
Crime dropped by 50%.
Illegal guns are getting seized.
Families can walk to the grocery store without dodging bullets.
But somehow this is controversial to the same crowd that spent four years telling us defunding the police was a great idea.
Look, here’s what’s really happening – and this is the part that should make every American furious.
Progressive activists and their white liberal allies care more about their political ideology than they do about Black kids getting shot in Southeast D.C.
They’d rather see crime victims suffer than admit Trump was right about law and order.
For folks who’ve been watching this disaster unfold for years, Pirro’s comments expose the ugly truth about the Left’s priorities.
They don’t actually care about the communities most affected by violence.
They care about maintaining their narrative that police are the problem, not criminals with guns.
Pirro even explained what comes next once the crime problem gets solved.
"Once we’re safe, then business goes up, tourism goes up," she said. "There is a domino effect that’s all positive."
What a concept – when you arrest criminals instead of making excuses for them, normal people can actually live their lives.
Businesses want to operate in safe areas.
Tourists want to visit places where they won’t get mugged.
Families want to raise their kids somewhere they won’t get caught in crossfire.
This isn’t rocket science, but apparently it took Donald Trump to figure out what every working-class American already knew.
You want less crime? Arrest more criminals.
You want safer streets? Get the guns away from the gang members.
You want thriving communities? Stop treating victims like they’re less important than the people victimizing them.
The Left spent years telling us this approach wouldn’t work.
They said it was racist, unconstitutional, and would make things worse.
Turns out they were wrong about everything.
