A celebrity chef revealed one anti-ICE restaurant push that left Americans shaking their heads

The open-borders crowd has found a new target for their hatred.

They can’t stand Immigration and Customs Enforcement so much they’re going after ice cubes.

And a celebrity chef just revealed one anti-ICE restaurant push that left Americans shaking their heads.

Celebrity chef exposes coordinated attack on basic vocabulary

Celebrity chef and Huntington Beach City Councilman Andrew Gruel dropped a bombshell on social media that shows just how unhinged the anti-border enforcement crowd has become.

"There’s a push in restaurants now to stop calling ice cubes ‘ICE’ – they want to have everyone refer to it as ‘Frozen Cubes,’" Gruel posted on X.

That’s right – the restaurant industry is so hostile to border security that they can’t even stomach using the word "ice" because it shares letters with Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

These businesses would rather confuse their customers with ridiculous terminology than risk being associated with the federal agency that enforces our immigration laws.

Gruel, who founded the popular Slapfish restaurant chain and has appeared on numerous Food Network shows, isn’t staying quiet about this latest attack on law enforcement.

The chef-turned-politician has seen firsthand what happens when communities abandon support for the men and women protecting our borders.

When did serving drinks become a political statement against border security?

This goes way beyond typical woke nonsense – this is open hostility toward federal law enforcement.

Think about what’s really happening here.

Restaurant owners are so terrified of offending illegal alien activists that they’re willing to change basic English vocabulary.

They’d rather have servers stumbling over "frozen cubes" than risk customers thinking about the brave men and women who arrest human traffickers and drug smugglers.

This isn’t some grassroots movement from restaurant workers.

This is coordinated pressure from the same open-borders groups that want to abolish ICE entirely.

They know they can’t eliminate the agency overnight, so they’re trying to make Americans uncomfortable with even hearing those three letters.

It’s psychological warfare disguised as inclusive customer service.

The real target isn’t ice cubes – it’s immigration enforcement

Here’s what the mainstream media won’t tell you about Gruel’s revelation.

The same groups pushing restaurants to rename ice cubes are the ones demanding sanctuary cities, opposing deportations, and calling ICE agents "Nazis."

They want to scrub any positive associations Americans might have with immigration enforcement.

So they start small – convince restaurant owners that even saying "ice" might remind customers that we have laws protecting our borders.

Next thing you know, they’ll be demanding restaurants stop serving "American cheese" because it sounds too patriotic.

This is exactly how the Left operates – death by a thousand tiny cuts to American culture.

Gruel understands what’s happening because he’s watched California get destroyed by this same anti-law enforcement mindset.

As a Huntington Beach City Council member, he’s seen what happens when local businesses start catering to open-borders activists instead of law-abiding Americans.

His restaurants have thrived by focusing on great food and normal service – not political correctness run amok.

ICE agents deserve better than this shameful disrespect

While restaurants are playing word games to avoid offending illegal alien advocates, ICE agents are risking their lives to protect our communities.

These men and women deal with human traffickers, drug smugglers, and violent criminals who exploit our broken immigration system.

They’ve been demonized by Democrat politicians, attacked by the media, and now the restaurant industry won’t even use a word that shares their acronym.

The disrespect is absolutely disgusting.

Restaurant owners need to ask themselves a simple question: are they running businesses that serve Americans, or are they activist organizations masquerading as restaurants?

Because Americans who support border security – which is most of the country – aren’t going to appreciate having their intelligence insulted with "frozen cubes."

Any restaurant owner stupid enough to rename ice cubes because they hate ICE deserves to lose customers to competitors who still support law enforcement.

Americans are fighting back against anti-ICE insanity

Gruel is doing exactly what more business leaders should do – exposing coordinated attacks on American institutions before they spread any further.

The open-borders crowd won’t stop with vocabulary changes.

They want to eliminate ICE entirely and turn America into a lawless sanctuary for anyone who wants to ignore our immigration system.

But Americans like Andrew Gruel are fighting back against this anti-law enforcement madness.

Restaurant customers need to pay attention to which establishments are participating in this nonsense and which ones still have the backbone to call ice "ice."

Support the businesses that support the men and women protecting our borders.

And avoid the ones that think "frozen cubes" is somehow more important than respecting immigration enforcement.

The choice is clear – and so is the ice.
