A White House spokeswoman gave Hillary Clinton one reality check that left her fuming

Hillary Clinton thought she could score easy political points by attacking Donald Trump’s plan to restore law and order in Washington, D.C.

She couldn’t have been more wrong about the reception she’d get.

And the White House gave Hillary Clinton one reality check that left her fuming.

Clinton tries to play the statistics game and gets burned

When President Trump announced his decision to take federal control of Washington, D.C.’s police department and bring in National Guard reinforcements to tackle the capital’s crime problems, Democrats immediately launched their counterattack.

Hillary Clinton — still smarting from her humiliating 2016 loss — decided to lead the charge against Trump’s law and order initiative.

"As you listen to an unhinged Trump try to justify deploying the National Guard in DC, here’s reality: Violent crime in DC is at a 30-year low," Clinton posted, citing Department of Justice statistics released under the Biden administration.

Clinton thought she had Trump cornered with official government data.

But she forgot one crucial detail — the statistics she was citing have been proven to be completely fabricated.

White House delivers the knockout punch

The White House wasn’t about to let Clinton’s false narrative go unchallenged.

White House Deputy Press Secretary Abigail Jackson fired back with a devastating response that exposed Clinton’s dishonesty for all to see.

"On top of being a big-time loser, you’re also a massive liar," Jackson wrote on social media.¹

The "big-time loser" reference was a direct shot at Clinton’s 2016 election defeat — a wound that clearly still hasn’t healed for the former Secretary of State.

But Jackson didn’t stop with personal attacks.

She backed up her response with cold, hard facts that completely demolished Clinton’s argument.

Jackson referenced a July 2025 story revealing that Metropolitan Police Department Commander Michael Pulliam was suspended amid accusations of falsifying crime statistics – the exact same statistics Clinton was using to attack Trump.²

The timing couldn’t have been more perfect.

Here was Clinton, trying to use doctored crime data to score political points, and the White House had the receipts proving those numbers were fake.

Democrats double down on debunked data

Instead of backing away from the discredited statistics, other prominent Democrats decided to dig themselves deeper into the hole.

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries doubled down on the same questionable data that the White House had just exposed.

"Violent crime in Washington, D.C. is at a thirty-year low. Donald Trump has no basis to take over the local police department. And zero credibility on the issue of law and order. Get lost," Jeffries wrote.³

Even Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer joined the parade of Democrats using fabricated crime statistics to attack Trump’s plan.

Clay Travis summed up the Democrats’ tone-deaf response perfectly: "Democrats are lining up to oppose crime being lower in DC. It’s bonkers."⁴

The optics couldn’t have been worse for Democrats.

They were essentially arguing that Washington, D.C. doesn’t need help with crime — while a fatal shooting rocked the city that very same Monday night.

The real story behind Trump’s D.C. crackdown

Trump’s decision wasn’t made randomly – it came after a string of violent incidents that have terrorized residents of the nation’s capital.

The most notable case involved the brutal assault on 19-year-old Edward Coristine, who previously worked for the Department of Government Efficiency.

The attack occurred in Washington’s Logan Circle area when approximately 10 teenagers approached Coristine and his companion near their vehicle around 3 a.m. on August 3.

"He was left dripping in blood. He thought he was dead with a broken nose and concussion. Can’t believe that he’s alive," Trump said during his Monday press conference.⁵

The assault left Coristine bloodied and battered until police officers patrolling nearby intervened and the attackers fled.

Beyond Coristine’s case, Trump cited additional violent crimes plaguing the capital.

Trump also highlighted recent crimes including a 21-year-old congressional intern killed by a stray bullet, a former Trump administration official murdered in a carjacking, and a Democratic congressman who was carjacked at gunpoint.

The real tragedy here goes beyond statistics and political spin. Behind every one of these incidents is a family wondering if their loved one will make it home safely each night.

Clinton’s track record catches up with her

The White House’s response exposes a pattern that Washington insiders have watched for years. Clinton consistently reaches for whatever data supports her political attacks, regardless of whether that information holds up under scrutiny.

Sources familiar with Clinton’s operation say this approach goes back decades. Whether it was her handling of classified emails or her explanations for the 2016 election results, Clinton has repeatedly been caught using questionable information to advance her narrative.

Now she’s doubled down on crime statistics that even D.C.’s own police union says have been manipulated. The pattern is clear — Clinton prioritizes political scoring over factual accuracy.

Now she’s been caught red-handed using fabricated crime statistics to attack a legitimate law enforcement initiative.

Metropolitan Police Department Commander Michael Pulliam was accused by his own union of falsifying the exact crime statistics Clinton cited in her attack on Trump.

The fact that Clinton either didn’t know about the falsified data or didn’t care shows just how desperate she is to score political points against the President.

Democrats reveal their true priorities

The Democrat response to Trump’s D.C. crime crackdown reveals everything Americans need to know about their priorities.

Instead of supporting efforts to make the nation’s capital safer, Democrats chose to attack Trump’s law enforcement initiative rather than address the real crime affecting Washington residents.

Socialist Democrat New York City mayoral nominee Zohran Mamdani even announced an anti-Trump tour, promising to "fight back" if Trump tried to restore law and order in New York City.⁶

This is the modern Democrat Party in a nutshell — they’re literally campaigning against reducing crime.

While Trump is deploying federal resources to combat violent gangs, bloodthirsty criminals, and roving mobs of wild youth in Washington, D.C., Democrats are attacking him for it.

The contrast couldn’t be starker.

Trump is focused on protecting American families and making our cities safe again.

Democrats are focused on protecting their political talking points, even when those talking points are based on fabricated data.

The White House’s takedown of Hillary Clinton exposed more than just Clinton’s dishonesty — it revealed the bankruptcy of the entire Democrat approach to law and order.

Americans can see the difference, and they’re choosing the candidate who actually wants to make their communities safer.
