The Biden administration’s border crisis created a nightmare for America’s most vulnerable.
Now the full scope of their negligence is coming to light.
And Ali Hopper exposed one Biden failure that left child trafficking experts shell-shocked.
An expert’s shocking discovery about abandoned children
Ali Hopper knows a thing or two about human trafficking. As president and founder of GUARD Against Trafficking, she’s seen the worst humanity has to offer.
But even she wasn’t prepared for what she’d uncover about the Biden administration’s handling of migrant children.
When Hopper testified before Congress on July 16, she dropped a bombshell that should keep every parent awake at night: Biden’s team missed 65,000 calls to a hotline designed to protect children from predators.¹
That’s not a typo. Sixty-five thousand calls.
During her appearance on The Ingraham Angle, Hopper explained how this disaster unfolded. The previous administration had set up what looked like a solid safeguard on paper.
"It was a safeguard put in place by the previous administration, and it looked good on policy. It looked good on paper," Hopper told Laura Ingraham. "But when the policy doesn’t actually work, when what was implemented as a safeguard doesn’t work and you only have one person assigned to the hotline to manage and field all of these calls, that is what happens. That is what results with 65,000 unanswered calls."²
Wait – one person? They put one single person in charge of fielding emergency calls from vulnerable children across the entire country?
That’s not just bureaucratic incompetence. That’s setting up a system designed to fail.
When children’s cries for help fall on deaf ears
The details Hopper shared with lawmakers would turn any parent’s stomach.
She recounted the story of one desperate child who managed to get through to the hotline. "One of the stories was that a child had called into the hotline reporting that men were coming into his room at night and they were touching him," Hopper revealed.³
A little boy called for help because grown men were sexually abusing him.
And nobody answered.
"That call went unanswered until this administration took office and acted very swiftly, conducted a home study, a welfare check, rescued the child and the sponsor’s been arrested," Hopper continued.⁴
So this child suffered in silence while Biden’s skeleton crew ignored his desperate plea for rescue. Only when Trump’s team took over did anyone bother to check on him.
The new administration didn’t hesitate – they moved fast, saved the kid, and threw his abuser in jail where he belongs.
But here’s what should make every American’s blood boil: that was just one story out of thousands.
"There are numerous cases like this and, honestly, this would have never been uncovered until this administration took over and reviewed all of that," Hopper testified.⁵
How many other children called that hotline begging for help while Biden’s people let those calls ring through to voicemail?
Biden’s missing children crisis goes deeper than anyone imagined
The timeline tells you everything you need to know about Biden’s priorities.
These 65,000 ignored calls happened between August 2023 and January 2025 – smack in the middle of Biden’s border free-for-all.⁶ Kids were calling about everything from basic neglect to horrific abuse, but Biden’s team couldn’t spare the resources to answer.
The complaints ranged "about stale bread all the way to being abused," according to Hopper’s testimony.⁷
Some of these kids just wanted decent food. Others were reporting sexual assault. Biden’s administration treated both with the same level of indifference – complete and total neglect.
This isn’t the first warning sign the Biden team ignored either.
Whistleblower Tara Rodas had been screaming about this problem since 2024, testifying about the total breakdown in vetting sponsors for migrant children.⁸ She tried to warn them that kids were disappearing into dangerous situations.
Biden’s Health and Human Services department didn’t want to hear it.
Even their own Inspector General had to admit the obvious in September 2024: Immigration and Customs Enforcement couldn’t "monitor all unaccompanied migrant children" they were releasing.⁹
So they were just handing kids over to whoever showed up and then – what? – hoping for the best?
That’s not a child protection system. That’s a trafficking pipeline with government paperwork.
The scope of this disaster keeps getting worse
Look at the numbers. They tell a story that should terrify every parent in America.
An estimated 300,000 migrant children disappeared under Biden’s watch.¹⁰
To put that in perspective – that’s bigger than the population of Pittsburgh. Gone. Vanished. With no way to track where they ended up.
Recent ICE raids prove these aren’t just statistics on some bureaucrat’s spreadsheet. Border Patrol Chief Gregory Bovino revealed that agents rescued 10 juvenile illegal migrants from a marijuana farm in Southern California – eight were unaccompanied minors believed to be part of that missing 300,000.¹¹
Kids who should be in school were instead forced to work illegal drug operations.
And that’s probably one of the better outcomes for these missing children.
What leadership actually looks like when kids are in danger
Here’s how the two administrations stack up:
Biden’s record: 65,000 calls from desperate kids go straight to voicemail.
Trump’s response: Start making welfare checks immediately.
The new administration didn’t hold focus groups or commission studies. They saw kids in trouble and moved fast to help them.
That sexually abused boy who called the hotline? Trump’s team rescued him and locked up his predator.
They didn’t wait for the perfect policy solution. They just acted like any decent human being would when children are being hurt.
Biden’s people had four years to figure this out. Instead, they set up a system practically designed to fail and then acted shocked when it did exactly that.
Time for some accountability
Congress needs to haul Biden’s former officials in front of cameras and make them explain how they justified ignoring 65,000 emergency calls from children.
Who decided one person could handle that workload? What happened to all the kids whose calls got missed? How many are still out there in dangerous situations?
Americans deserve real answers, not the usual Washington word salad about "complex challenges" and "systematic reforms."
Trump’s team already proved you can protect these kids when you actually try. Now Congress needs to make sure the people who failed them face consequences.
Because the next time some bureaucrat thinks they can treat vulnerable children like political props, they better know there’s a price to pay.
