The declassified documents reveal that CIA Director John Brennan "ordered the post-election publication of 15 reports containing previously collected but unpublished intelligence, three of which were substandard—containing information that was unclear, of uncertain origin, potentially biased, or implausible."¹
Those substandard intelligence reports then became foundational sources for intelligence assessments about Russian interference that dominated Trump’s first presidency.
CNN analyst accidentally admits the truth about media bias
CNN National Security Analyst Beth Sanner’s response to these devastating revelations was a masterclass in establishment panic.
Instead of addressing the substance of what the declassified report actually shows, Sanner immediately went into damage control mode.
"What I don’t appreciate is that these are cherry-picked examples that they are quibbling, angels dancing on the head of a pin when we have volumes of reporting," Sanner complained on air.²
Notice what she’s really saying here.
When confronted with official intelligence documents that contradict the Russia hoax narrative, Sanner dismisses them as "cherry-picked examples."
But she wants Americans to trust the "volumes of reporting" that came from the same intelligence officials who admittedly published substandard and biased intelligence.

Sanner’s most telling comment came when she tried to deflect from the Obama administration’s role in creating this scandal.
"You’re always going to find one report that’s different, OK, whatever," she said dismissively.³
Translation: Don’t pay attention to the official documents that prove we’ve been lying to you for years.
Gabbard delivers the knockout punch to Russia hoax defenders
Gabbard didn’t mince words when she addressed the White House press corps about these explosive revelations.
"There is irrefutable evidence that details how President Obama and his national security team directed the creation of an intelligence community assessment that they knew was false," Gabbard said.⁴
She continued dismantling the entire foundation of the Russia collusion narrative that CNN and other establishment media outlets spent years promoting.
"They knew it would promote this contrived narrative that Russia interfered in the 2016 election to help President Trump win, selling it to the American people as though it were true. It wasn’t."⁵

And Sanner’s response proves exactly why Americans have lost trust in the establishment media.
Instead of acknowledging these explosive revelations and demanding accountability, she accused the Trump administration of "doing the work of our adversary Russia" by releasing the truth.⁶
That’s the kind of backwards thinking that has destroyed CNN’s credibility with the American people.
