The radical Left has declared war on America’s immigration enforcement.
They’re willing to put federal agents in danger to protect illegal aliens.
And a top Democrat threatened ICE agents and it sent one to the emergency room.
Rep. Carbajal shows business card to angry mob at California marijuana farm
Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers were doing their job when they executed a criminal search warrant at a California marijuana farm.
What they found was shocking.
ICE rescued 14 migrant children who may have been victims of trafficking, forced labor, and exploitation at the Glass House Farms facility in Carpinteria.¹
The federal agents arrested 361 illegal aliens during the massive operation.
But instead of celebrating the rescue of exploited children, radical Democrat Rep. Salud Carbajal rushed to the scene to attack the ICE agents.
Carbajal showed up with 500 rioters who were determined to stop federal law enforcement from doing their job.
The California Democrat made the situation worse by allegedly showing the business card of an ICE Public Affairs specialist to the angry mob.
That’s called doxxing – and it put the federal employee’s life in danger.
“The actions by Representative Carbajal are downright un-American,” DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said.² She added that doxxing ICE personnel and inciting rioters to attack law enforcement isn’t oversight but abominable behavior.
The mob turned violent after Carbajal’s stunt.
ICE employee rushed to emergency room after rock attack
The ICE specialist that Carbajal allegedly doxxed was hit by a rock thrown by one of the rioters.
The attack caused significant injuries to the federal employee’s left hand.
Images released by DHS show the employee’s hand covered in blood before and after he received medical treatment.
The ICE agent had to be rushed to the emergency room where he received stitches for his injuries.
McLaughlin noted that Carbajal’s actions sent an ICE employee to the emergency room.³ She said ICE agents are facing a 700% increase in assaults when radical members of Congress encourage and lead supporters in assaulting law enforcement.
That’s not a typo.
Assaults on ICE agents have increased by 700% as Democrats like Carbajal encourage violence against federal law enforcement.
The situation got so bad that during the California operation, DHS said a violent agitator fired a gun at ICE officers.
These brave men and women are risking their lives to save children from exploitation and human trafficking.
But Democrats like Carbajal are more interested in protecting illegal aliens than rescued children.
Carbajal denies doxxing allegations while defending rioters
Carbajal tried to spin the story on social media after the violent attack on the ICE agent.
He claimed DHS was attempting to “distort what occurred in Carpinteria” and accused federal agents of using excessive force against farm workers and peaceful protesters.⁴
Carbajal called the 500 rioters who attacked federal agents “peaceful protesters.”
That’s the same language Democrats used to describe the Black Lives Matter riots that burned down cities across America.
The congressman claimed he witnessed federal agents in military gear firing smoke canisters and projectiles into crowds of civilians.⁵
He failed to mention that those “peaceful civilians” included someone who fired a gun at federal agents.
Carbajal claimed he was just doing “congressional oversight” when he showed up at the scene.
But showing an ICE agent’s business card to an angry mob isn’t oversight.
It’s doxxing, and it led to a federal employee being injured and hospitalized.
Glass House Farms executives donated to Carbajal’s campaign
The plot thickens when you look at who owns the marijuana farm where children were being exploited.
Glass House Farms executives Kyle Kazan and Graham Farrar previously donated to Carbajal’s congressional campaign, according to Federal Election Commission records.⁶
Farrar donated to Carbajal as recently as 2022.
So Carbajal rushed to defend a business operation where ICE found exploited children – and whose executives had donated to his campaign.
That’s the kind of swamp behavior that Donald Trump promised to drain from Washington, D.C.
The company stated they never knowingly violated employment practices and have never employed minors.⁷
But ICE found 14 exploited children at their facility.
Democrats put illegal aliens above American safety
This incident shows exactly what’s wrong with the modern Democrat Party.
They’re more concerned with protecting illegal aliens than they are with saving exploited children.
Carbajal’s actions put a federal law enforcement officer in the hospital.
His doxxing led to a 700% increase in assaults on ICE agents who are just trying to do their job.
But he doesn’t care because he’s more interested in virtue signaling to his radical base than protecting American communities.
DHS made it clear they won’t tolerate this kind of behavior from members of Congress.
McLaughlin stated they will prosecute anyone who assaults or doxxes federal law enforcement to the fullest extent of the law.⁸
The American people elected Donald Trump to secure the border and deport illegal aliens.
Democrats like Carbajal are standing in the way of that mandate.
They’re willing to put federal agents in danger to protect criminals who are exploiting children.
That’s not just wrong – it’s un-American.
And it shows why the Democrat Party can’t be trusted with America’s security.
