The swamp creatures who tried to take down Donald Trump are learning a hard lesson.
Their weaponization of the justice system has consequences.
And Pam Bondi just delivered one backfiring blow that sent Jack Smith’s cronies packing.
Attorney General Bondi drops the hammer on Deep State operatives
Attorney General Pam Bondi isn’t wasting any time cleaning house at the Department of Justice.
On Friday, Bondi fired 20 DOJ employees who worked with disgraced special counsel Jack Smith on his bogus prosecutions against President Trump.¹
The purge included two prosecutors, 12 support staff, and six U.S. marshals who assisted with the classified documents case and the 2020 election investigation.¹
This comes after more than a dozen officials who worked with Smith were already terminated in January when Trump first took office.¹
Smith himself resigned before Trump’s inauguration rather than face the music for his partisan witch hunt.
The two cases against Trump were dismissed after his landslide election victory proved the American people rejected the lawfare tactics of the Biden regime.
But Bondi’s housecleaning didn’t stop there.
Joseph Tirrell, who served as director of the Departmental Ethics Office, received his walking papers and shared the termination letter on LinkedIn.²
"Until Friday evening, I was the senior ethics attorney at the Department of Justice responsible for advising the Attorney General and Deputy Attorney General directly on federal employee ethics," Tirrell wrote on LinkedIn Monday.² "I was also responsible for the day-to-day operations of the ethics program across the Department."²
That’s rich – the guy who was supposed to ensure "ethics" at DOJ while they were railroading Trump with made-up charges is now crying about getting fired.
The swamp rats are squealing about accountability
Patty Hartman, a public affairs employee who worked in the District of Columbia U.S. Attorney’s Office during January 6th prosecutions, also got the boot according to CBS News.³
Hartman told CBS News on July 10th about the firings.
"There used to be a line, used to be a very distinct separation between the White House and the Department of Justice, because one should not interfere with the work of the other," Hartman told CBS News.³
"That line is very definitely gone."³
What a joke.
Where was this concern about "separation" when the Biden administration was using DOJ as their personal attack dog against Trump?
These same people had no problem when the Justice Department was being weaponized to prosecute Trump on trumped-up charges while ignoring Hunter Biden’s laptop and the Biden family’s corrupt business dealings.
Now they’re clutching their pearls because the new administration is holding them accountable for their partisan activities.
The hypocrisy is staggering.
Jack Smith’s legacy of failure gets exposed
In his final report, Smith claimed Trump would have been convicted if he had not won the election.⁴
But here’s what Smith didn’t want anyone to notice – he indicated he did not bring insurrection charges because he could not prove January 6th was more than a riot or that Trump incited it.⁴
That’s a pretty big admission from someone who spent years and millions of taxpayer dollars trying to paint Trump as an insurrectionist.
Smith sought to rush the cases before the 2024 election but failed to get either one to trial.⁴
The American people saw right through the partisan lawfare for what it was – a desperate attempt to interfere in the election and prevent Trump from returning to power.
And just like that, Bondi’s making it crystal clear – you can’t come after Trump and expect to keep your cushy government job.
These Deep State goons thought they were untouchable.
Wrong.
Trump said he’d drain the swamp, and Bondi’s doing exactly that by tossing these partisan hacks out on their rear ends.
Nobody’s gonna miss the 20 employees who got canned on Friday.
They picked the wrong side in one of the ugliest chapters DOJ’s ever seen, and now they’re learning what happens when you mess with the wrong President.
But this is just getting started.
The Justice Department’s been treating conservatives like garbage for years while Democrats got away with murder.
Not anymore.
Bondi’s cleaning house and getting rid of the political hit men who turned DOJ into their personal weapon.
The swamp rats are crying about it, but regular Americans? They’re loving every minute of this.
Finally, somebody’s getting what they deserve.
