Attorney General Pam Bondi promised the American people transparency on Jeffrey Epstein.
She delivered a complete mess instead.
And Pam Bondi got caught in one scandal that has Kash Patel and Dan Bongino calling for her head.
Bondi’s Epstein Promise Turned Into a Disaster
Trump’s base has been waiting years for someone to finally deliver the truth about Jeffrey Epstein’s criminal network.
They believed Pam Bondi would be different from the swamp creatures who came before her.
They were wrong.
What started as promises of transparency has turned into one of the biggest scandals of Trump’s second term.
And now two of Trump’s most trusted allies are reportedly furious with Bondi over her handling of the Epstein files.
Many supporters felt betrayed after Bondi’s February performance at the White House.
She handed out what she called "Epstein files" to conservative influencers in what looked like a major document dump.
The problem was these weren’t new revelations at all.
They were old court records that had already been made public.
Conservative influencer Liz Wheeler was one of the people who received these files and she’s still angry about what happened.
"That day in the White House, Pam Bondi bragged about making that cover sheet on the binder you’re showing on the screen," Wheeler revealed. "That cover sheet that reads, ‘The most transparent administration in history: Epstein Files, Phase One.’ She told us she made that. She printed it. She put it in that binder."
Wheeler pointed out that Bondi spent time making the cover look impressive but didn’t bother to include any actual new information.
Bondi Made Things Worse With Her TV Appearances
After the February stunt backfired, Bondi went on television to promise that more information was coming.
She claimed the FBI had turned over a massive amount of previously hidden evidence.
In a March TV interview, she said the Biden administration "sat on these documents; no one did anything with them."
She added: "Sadly these people don’t believe in transparency, but I think more unfortunately, I think a lot of them don’t believe in honesty."
Bondi kept building expectations for months with appearances on Fox News and other outlets.
She told viewers that major revelations were just around the corner.
"It’s a new administration and everything is going to come out to the public," she promised at one point.
But that’s not what happened.
The Justice Department Pulled the Rug Out From Under Everyone
After months of Bondi’s hype, the Justice Department released a memo that destroyed all the hopes she had built up.
The memo stated that Jeffrey Epstein never maintained a "client list" and that no more files would be released.
The Associated Press reported on this stunning reversal: "Jeffrey Epstein did not maintain a ‘client list,’ the Justice Department acknowledged Monday as it said no more files related to the wealthy financier’s sex trafficking investigation would be made public despite promises from Attorney General Pam Bondi."¹
The department’s acknowledgment represents a complete about-face from the theory that Bondi had been promoting.
She had previously suggested in a Fox News interview that such a document was "sitting on my desk" for review.
The memo also said the department was refusing to disclose other evidence investigators had collected.
Trump’s base felt completely betrayed.
They had been promised justice and transparency.
Instead, they got what felt like another cover-up.
FBI Director Kash Patel and Deputy Director Dan Bongino Are Furious
The backlash from Trump’s supporters has been intense.
But according to investigative reporter Laura Loomer, the anger isn’t just coming from the base.
It’s boiling over inside the Trump administration itself.
Loomer reported that FBI Director Kash Patel and Deputy FBI Director Dan Bongino are absolutely livid with Bondi.
"SCOOP: @FBIDirectorKash and @dbongino are LIVID with @AGPamBondi over her DOJ Memo and the lack of transparency from her office regarding the Jeffery Epstein files," Loomer posted on X.²
"Source tells me Dan Bongino is taking the day off today from his job as Deputy Director of the FBI, and there’s now speculation on whether or not he will return to his job at the @FBI over his disgust with Blondi’s lack of transparency and handling of the Epstein files," Loomer added.
Loomer said Bondi has brought total embarrassment to President Trump, Vice President JD Vance, Bongino, and Patel.
"She has also LIED to the American people," Loomer stated.
"I’m told Kash and Bongino are furious with Blondi and the blowback she has caused them with her lack of transparency," Loomer continued.
That’s explosive stuff if it’s true.
Axios Confirms the Internal Warfare
This story got even more credible when Axios reported the same information from their own sources.
The outlet confirmed that Dan Bongino had clashed with Bondi over the Epstein files.
"FBI deputy director Dan Bongino took a day off from work Friday after clashing at the White House with Attorney General Pam Bondi over their handling of the Jeffrey Epstein files, four sources familiar with the conflict told Axios," the outlet reported.³
The conflict erupted after the administration walked back its claims about Epstein.
Bongino didn’t show up to work Friday, which led some insiders to think he had quit.
Administration officials say he’s still on the job, but the internal tension continues.
The dispute centered on a surveillance video from outside Epstein’s cell that the administration released as proof that no one entered the room before he killed himself.
The video had what’s been called a "missing minute," which fueled conspiracy theories about a cover-up.
Two sources told Axios that Bongino was increasingly unhappy with Bondi’s handling of the Epstein case because she had publicly promised too much and delivered too little.
Laura Loomer Drops Another Bombshell
Laura Loomer wasn’t finished exposing the chaos behind the scenes.
She accused Bondi of actively blocking the FBI from releasing more Epstein-related files.
"My sources tell me that the FBI wanted to release more information about Jeffrey Epstein, and Pam Blondi @AGPamBondi and her DOJ said NO. This has caused tension between Blondi, Kash, and Bongino," Loomer posted on X.⁴
"Asking for transparency isn’t difficult," Loomer added.
"Blondi is literally blowing up the Trump admin by concealing information, spending time on Fox News lying to MAGA base and by releasing contradictory statements," Loomer continued.
Loomer questioned why the memo was released on a Sunday night during July 4th weekend with no official signatures.
"You only release memos on Sunday evening on holiday weekends when you don’t want anyone paying attention to the contents," Loomer explained.
"Trump’s team needs to READ THE ROOM," Loomer stated.
"Blondi has been very DAMAGING to the admin and she has damaged public trust in the DOJ. She is hurting President Trump and his staff/advisors. She lied on national TV and needs to be held accountable for harming the Trump admin and public trust," Loomer concluded.
Trump Doesn’t Want to Hurt Innocent People
Bill O’Reilly recently provided some context for why President Trump might be hesitant to release names connected to Epstein.
According to O’Reilly, Trump told him he didn’t want innocent people dragged through the mud just for appearing on a list without proper context.
Trump was worried about people like golf buddies or casual acquaintances being destroyed unfairly.
But that explanation doesn’t satisfy Trump’s base, who want full transparency.
The American People Deserve the Truth
This scandal has become one of the biggest challenges President Trump has faced since taking office.
The American people were promised transparency and justice.
Instead, they got what feels like another establishment cover-up.
If there are innocent people on any list, then provide the context and release the information.
Don’t hide behind excuses while the real criminals walk free.
The MAGA base has been patient for years.
But their patience is running out.
If Pam Bondi can’t deliver on her promises of transparency, then maybe it’s time for President Trump to find someone who can.
The stakes are too high and the issue is too important for more games.
Americans deserve to know the truth about Jeffrey Epstein’s criminal network.
And if Bondi can’t handle that responsibility, then she needs to step aside for someone who can.
