One terrifying letter sent to Pennsylvania Trump voters has law enforcement scrambling to cover up their epic failure

Pennsylvania Trump supporters thought they were safe in their own neighborhoods.

They never imagined what would show up in their mailboxes.

And one terrifying letter sent to Pennsylvania Trump voters has law enforcement scrambling to cover up their epic failure.

Trump voters targeted with death threats in their own homes

Trump supporters in Pennsylvania opened their mailboxes in October 2024 to find something that would make their blood run cold.

Anonymous letters filled with vile threats against their families, their property, and even their pets.

"We know where you live. … In the dead of a cold winters [sic] night, this year, or next and beyond, there is no knowing what may happen. Your property, your family may be impacted, your cat may get shot. And more. … Your vote for this guy [Trump] is seen as treading on my rights. You tread on me at your peril, motherf***er. We look forward to visiting in the future," one letter read.¹

What was their crime?

Having Trump signs in their yards.

This wasn’t random harassment from keyboard warriors.

These were calculated, personalized threats delivered through the U.S. mail to voters across multiple Pennsylvania counties.

The perpetrators had clearly scouted neighborhoods, identified Trump supporters by their yard signs, and then systematically threatened them with violence.

Law enforcement’s shocking response will leave you speechless

Here’s where this story takes a turn that’ll make your jaw hit the floor.

Local law enforcement, Pennsylvania state police, the FBI, the U.S. Justice Department, and the U.S. Postal Inspection Service all had one response to these brazen threats against American voters.

They did absolutely nothing.

Not one investigation was opened.

Not one fingerprint was lifted.

Not one postmark was checked.

The Public Interest Legal Foundation had to file a federal lawsuit just to get answers about what should have been a massive multi-agency investigation.¹

The Pennsylvania State Police admitted they never even opened an investigation when they responded to a subpoena.

One victim complained to Lower Merion police but never received any follow-up from investigators.

Another local police department in Tredyffrin Township told a different victim that he couldn’t get any information because the department’s records were "exempt from disclosure under state law."¹

The U.S. Postal Inspection Service refused to cooperate, claiming their records were "protected by the Privacy Act and related Postal regulations."¹

The Biden Justice Department’s disgraceful double standard

This gets even more infuriating when you consider who was running the show.

During the time these acts were committed in 2024, Kristen Clarke was heading the Civil Rights Division of the U.S. Department of Justice, which is responsible for enforcing voter intimidation laws.

According to von Spakovsky, "Clarke is probably the most biased, partisan ideologue to ever head that division. She had no interest whatsoever in protecting Trump voters."¹

The Civil Rights Division that’s supposed to protect all Americans’ voting rights completely ignored credible threats against Pennsylvania voters.

These threats violated both the Civil Rights Act of 1871 and the Voting Rights Act, which makes voter intimidation a federal crime.

But apparently those laws only apply when the victims are Democrats.

What a real investigation would have looked like

Any competent investigator would have immediately launched a comprehensive probe.

They would have checked the letters for fingerprints and DNA evidence.

They would have examined postmarks to trace where the letters were mailed from.

They would have looked for surveillance cameras at post offices.

Since victims lived in multiple locations, investigators should have canvassed neighborhoods for Ring doorbell cameras and security footage to identify suspects who were clearly casing different areas.

These were basic investigative steps that any first-year police academy graduate would know to take.

Instead, law enforcement agencies across Pennsylvania chose to look the other way.

The media’s deafening silence speaks volumes

Hans von Spakovsky, writing for The Federalist, nailed the hypocrisy perfectly.

"Imagine if it had been Democrat voters supporting Kamala Harris who received these types of threats. It would have been front-page news at The New York Times and The Washington Post. The politicized FBI and the Biden Justice Department would have immediately been in Pennsylvania investigating these threats."¹

But since the victims were Trump supporters, the story didn’t get the national attention it deserved.

The mainstream media that screams about "threats to democracy" every five minutes couldn’t be bothered to cover actual threats against American voters.

The lawsuit that’s forcing accountability

The Public Interest Legal Foundation stepped up where law enforcement failed.

They filed a federal lawsuit against "John Doe 1" and "John Doe 2" – the legal term used when you can’t identify the defendants yet.

The lawsuit seeks damages under federal civil rights laws that protect voters from intimidation.¹

More importantly, they got a federal judge’s approval to issue subpoenas to the law enforcement agencies that ignored their duties.

It’s outrageous that a private nonprofit organization had to do the job that taxpayer-funded law enforcement agencies refused to do.

The bigger picture is even more disturbing

This wasn’t just about a few nasty letters.

This was a systematic attempt to intimidate voters in a crucial swing state just weeks before the 2024 presidential election.

Pennsylvania has a dismal record when it comes to election integrity, and these threats were designed to suppress Trump’s vote in key areas.

The fact that every level of law enforcement – local, state, and federal – completely ignored credible threats against American voters should terrify everyone who believes in fair elections.

This is what happens when partisan politics infects law enforcement agencies from top to bottom.

The message is crystal clear: if you support the wrong candidate, you’re on your own.
