The chaos erupting in Los Angeles has Democrats scrambling to control the narrative.

But one sharp-tongued Senator wasn’t having any of their excuses.

And John Kennedy delivered one brutal takedown that left Gavin Newsom and Maxine Waters speechless.

Kennedy cuts through the Democrat spin with surgical precision

Anti-ICE riots have turned parts of Los Angeles into a battlefield, with federal agents under attack and buildings vandalized.

While the chaos unfolds, Democrat politicians are busy rewriting reality and making excuses for the mayhem in their own backyard.

Louisiana Senator John Kennedy wasn’t buying their narrative when he sat down with Sean Hannity.

The Senator began with characteristic bluntness about the absurdity of the situation.

"Well, all of this is why the aliens won’t talk to us," Kennedy said, perfectly capturing how bizarre Democrat responses have become.

Kennedy then turned his attention to Congresswoman Maxine Waters, who has been touring news shows claiming there’s no violence in her own district despite clear video evidence to the contrary.

"I mean no disrespect to Congresswoman Waters, but somebody needs to tell her that the voices in her head are not real," Kennedy stated matter-of-factly.

Waters has been pushing the narrative that these destructive riots are actually "mostly peaceful protests" while federal officers face violent attacks and property gets destroyed.

Kennedy demolished this talking point with a comparison that perfectly illustrated the absurdity.

"I’ve listened to so many of my colleagues and members of the media say that that these are mostly peaceful protests. That’s like saying that that’s like saying that Harvey Weinstein is mostly a feminist because he didn’t rape every woman who came into his office. He only raped some of them," Kennedy explained.

The analogy was harsh but effective in showing how ridiculous it sounds to call violent riots "mostly peaceful" just because not every single moment involves violence.

California’s Governor gets a perfect new nickname

Kennedy then shifted his focus to California Governor Gavin Newsom, whose flip-flopping on federal immigration enforcement has been glaring.

The Senator noted Newsom’s inconsistency on most issues but highlighted one area where he’s been remarkably consistent.

"In terms of Governor Newsom, he’s been — he’s flip-flopped a lot, Sean, on issues. But the governor’s been very consistent on one thing, his antipathy toward the lives and feelings of ordinary Americans, including public safety," Kennedy observed.

Then Kennedy delivered what may become Newsom’s defining political label.

"Governor Newsom is, his record shows this, he’s the dictionary definition of weenie," Kennedy declared.

The Senator expanded on this assessment by explaining Newsom’s backwards approach to law enforcement.

"He thinks cops are a bigger problem than criminals. He thinks if a cop has to shoot a criminal, it’s automatically and always a cop’s fault. But if a criminal shoots a cop, it’s automatically and always the gun’s fault," Kennedy added.

This encapsulates the upside-down priorities that have made California’s sanctuary policies a magnet for illegal immigration while handcuffing law enforcement.

Kennedy offered some basic wisdom that seems lost on California’s leadership: "Here’s a tip, cops don’t leave you alone unless you do illegal stuff."

Trump forced to clean up California’s mess

The situation deteriorated so badly that President Trump had to deploy federal troops to restore basic order.

Kennedy praised this necessary intervention while noting the irony of the situation.

"I feel for the people of Los Angeles. It’s a wonderful city. There are wonderful people there. I’m sure he doesn’t see it this way but Governor Newsom really – he really owes a debt of gratitude to President Trump because I think Governor Newsom dug up more snakes here than he could kill," Kennedy said.

The Senator explained why federal intervention became inevitable given the failure of local leadership.

"We have a lot of people in our country, many of them in Los Angeles, who are here illegally. And some of them are bad people and President Trump is trying to deport them," Kennedy stated.

"Some people disagree with that in Los Angeles. That’s fine. You can protest in America, but they’re not protesting. They’re rioting," he continued.

Kennedy made clear these weren’t legitimate protesters but criminals who needed to be stopped.

"These aren’t peaceful protesters. They’re goons. They’re gangsters," Kennedy said bluntly.

He criticized both Newsom and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass for their weak response, calling them both "sheep" when dealing with "a wolf problem."

"More sheep is not going to solve the wolf problem," Kennedy noted, explaining why Trump’s intervention was necessary.

Taxpayers shouldn’t subsidize sanctuary madness

Kennedy also addressed the financial burden California places on American taxpayers through its sanctuary policies.

He pointed out that over 60% of California’s Medi-Cal program comes from federal funding, meaning Americans across the country are paying for California’s sanctuary policies.

"There’s a federal statute that prohibits foreign nationals who are in our country illegally from receiving Medicaid. California does it anyway. They just do it," Kennedy explained.

Under the Biden administration, California simply ignored federal law and used taxpayer money to provide benefits to people who broke immigration law.

Kennedy confirmed that Republicans are including provisions in their reconciliation bill to defund these illegal programs.

"No wonder it was a magnet for illegal immigration," Kennedy said about California’s generous benefits for lawbreakers.

The Senator concluded by noting the sheer madness of the entire situation.

"You know, all this stuff is it’s crazy. It’s why the aliens drive by Planet Earth and lock their doors, man. I mean, it — none of it makes any sense," Kennedy said.

John Kennedy once again proved why he’s become one of the most effective voices in the Senate by cutting through Democrat nonsense and telling Americans the plain truth about what’s happening in Los Angeles.
