Biden made one terrible mistake that put terror suspects on American soil

The Biden administration never wanted this failure to see the light of day..

But a damning new report just exposed their darkest secret.

And Biden made one terrible mistake that put terror suspects on American soil.

Justice Department inspector general drops devastating bombshell on Biden’s Afghan evacuation

The Department of Justice Inspector General released a scathing report that confirmed what Republicans have been warning about since August 2021.

The Biden administration allowed 55 Afghan refugees who were flagged on the terror watchlist to enter the United States during their chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan.

The FBI’s Terrorist Screening Center identified these individuals as either already being on the terrorist watchlist when they reached a U.S. port of entry or being added to the database during the evacuation and resettlement process.

Even more alarming, at least 21 of these terror suspects were added to the watchlist after they had already entered American soil.

The report found that as of July 2024, nine individuals remained on the terror watchlist and eight of them were still living in the United States.

Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA) has been sounding the alarm about this security disaster since the withdrawal began.

"I’ve sounded the alarm about the need to thoroughly vet Afghan evacuee applicants since August 2021," Grassley said in a statement. "The Biden-Harris administration, my Democrat colleagues in Congress and many in the media were quick to dismiss glaring red flags that a nonpartisan national security analysis now confirms."

The Iowa Senator didn’t mince words about the Biden administration’s reckless endangerment of American lives.

"As if it wasn’t already obvious, the Biden-Harris administration endangered American lives by allowing suspected terrorists to enter the United States and roam free for years," Grassley stated.

Biden’s rushed evacuation created a national security nightmare

The Justice Department report revealed that the Biden administration’s desperate rush to evacuate Afghans completely overwhelmed normal security procedures.

"According to the FBI, the need to immediately evacuate Afghans overtook the normal processes required to determine whether individuals attempting to enter the United States pose a threat to national security, which increased the risk that bad actors could try to exploit the expedited evacuation," the DOJ inspector general report stated.

Almost 90,000 Afghans were brought to the United States by the Biden administration.

The administration provided these foreign nationals with immigration processing and resettlement support with minimal vetting.

Dozens of potential terrorists were allowed to roam freely in America for months or even years.

This isn’t the first time government watchdogs have exposed the Biden administration’s vetting failures.

An earlier assessment in February 2022 by the Pentagon’s inspector general reached a similar conclusion, finding that the Biden administration failed to use all available screening data to vet Afghan refugees.

That report found at least 50 individuals posing "potentially significant security concerns" made it inside America’s borders.

One Afghan refugee already plotted Election Day terrorist attack

The real-world consequences of Biden’s vetting failures became crystal clear when one Afghan refugee was arrested for plotting an ISIS-inspired Election Day terrorist attack.

Nasir Ahmad Tawhedi, 27, was living in Oklahoma City on a Special Immigrant Visa when he took steps to stockpile AK-47 rifles and ammunition to carry out an attack on U.S. soil "in the name of ISIS," according to the Justice Department.

Tawhedi entered the United States on September 9, 2021, just weeks after the Taliban regained control of Afghanistan and the last U.S. troops departed from the war-torn nation.

The FBI arrested Tawhedi just one month before the 2024 presidential election, potentially preventing a mass casualty terrorist attack on American soil.

He was charged with conspiring and attempting to provide material support to ISIS and is currently awaiting trial.

This case proves that the Biden administration’s vetting failures weren’t just paperwork problems – they created real terrorist threats against the American people.

Republicans vow continued oversight of Biden’s Afghan disaster

Senator Grassley promised that Republican oversight of the Biden administration’s vetting and resettlement failures would continue.

Senators Rob Portman (R-OH) and James Inhofe (R-OK) also raised concerns about the administration’s failure to fix the deficiencies in the vetting process, calling it a "serious breach of homeland security."

The Biden administration’s botched Afghanistan withdrawal has been plagued by failures from the very beginning.

From the deadly suicide bombing at Kabul airport that killed 13 U.S. service members to the drone strike that killed an innocent Afghan family, the withdrawal was a foreign policy disaster.

Now this inspector general report proves that the administration also created a homeland security crisis by allowing dozens of potential terrorists to enter the United States.

The American people deserved better from their government than this reckless endangerment of national security.

At least 55 individuals on the terror watchlist were allowed into America because the Biden administration prioritized speed over safety during their chaotic evacuation.

That’s 55 too many.
