Bill Clinton’s past scandals continue to haunt the Democrat Party’s legacy.
Now a former White House insider is sharing disturbing new details about the former President.
And a former White House aide exposed Bill Clinton’s shocking behavior on Air Force One that left staffers stunned.
Former Clinton aide reveals disturbing incident
Retired Lieutenant Colonel Robert “Buzz” Patterson served as a senior military aide to President Bill Clinton, carrying the nuclear football and maintaining close proximity to the Commander-in-Chief during his time in office.
Patterson has made headlines recently with a series of revelations about his time in the Clinton White House.
After previously disclosing that Hillary Clinton effectively “became the co-president” following the Monica Lewinsky scandal and sharing a story about Clinton once losing the nuclear codes, Patterson has now come forward with an even more troubling account.
In a lengthy post on X that has garnered over one million views, Patterson detailed an alleged incident of sexual misconduct by Clinton aboard Air Force One.
“This one truly IS ‘Dereliction of Duty,'” Patterson wrote, referencing the title of his book about his experiences in the Clinton administration.
BILL CLINTON & THE AF-1 FLIGHT ATTENDANT
This one truly IS “Dereliction of Duty.”
We were returning late one night from a long trip to Europe on AF-1, landed at Andrews, and helicoptered on Marine One to the White House. We landed on the South Lawn at about midnight and, after…

A disturbing midnight phone call
Patterson recounted a return flight from Europe during which Clinton allegedly cornered and molested a female Air Force One steward. The incident reportedly took place while the plane was in flight, and Patterson only learned about it after they had landed at the White House.
“We landed on the South Lawn at about midnight and, after ensuring the president was on his way to his residence upstairs, I headed to my bedroom in the East Wing. Shortly thereafter, my phone rang and it was the AF-1 presidential pilot. ‘Buzz, we have a problem,’ he said,” Patterson wrote.
According to Patterson, the pilot informed him that Clinton had “cornered a female AF-1 steward in the galley and molested her.”
Patterson described the woman as “young, a staff sergeant, and married with children,” adding that she was “super sweet” and someone he knew and liked personally.
The victim’s humble request
In his post, Patterson revealed that the female staff sergeant, who was in tears after the alleged incident, had a surprisingly modest request considering the severity of what had reportedly happened.
“I asked the pilot what she wanted. He told me that she didn’t want to be another ‘bimbo,’ she wanted to remain in the Air Force and be promotable. All she wanted was an apology,” Patterson wrote.
The combat veteran’s account places this incident in the context of other allegations against Clinton, including those from Monica Lewinsky, Paula Jones, and Kathleen Willey, with Patterson noting that while it wasn’t surprising given that history, it was “terribly disappointing and sad.”
A difficult confrontation
The next morning, Patterson – then a major in the Air Force – had to confront the President of the United States about the incident, a task he described as the “toughest day in my life.”
“I’ve been shot at with hot metal but this was the toughest day in my life. I remember on my way to talk with him thinking ‘I didn’t sign up for this s***,'” the now 69-year-old combat veteran wrote.
According to Patterson, it took two weeks to arrange a meeting between Clinton and the staff sergeant. When the meeting finally occurred in the president’s office aboard Air Force One, Clinton offered what Patterson characterized as a “very uncontrite ‘half apology.'”
“He didn’t care,” Patterson added bluntly.
Double standard for the powerful
Patterson noted the stark contrast between how this incident was handled and how it would have been addressed had it involved anyone else in the military chain of command.
“Yet another in my experiences working for a man with absolutely no integrity and no moral fiber,” Patterson concluded in his social media post.
The allegations from Patterson add to the lengthy list of accusations of sexual misconduct against the former president, which have resurfaced periodically since his time in office.
As Democrats struggle to distance themselves from the toxic legacies of their former presidents – from Bill Clinton’s scandals to Joe Biden’s cognitive decline – these revelations serve as reminders of the party’s complicated history with powerful men accused of misconduct.
Patterson’s willingness to come forward with these accounts years later highlights the lasting impact such incidents have on those who witness them, even from positions of significant responsibility within the corridors of power.
