With the attack on the First Lady, fashion magazine puts models who don’t toe magazine woke line on notice
Melania Trump was a former high fashion model.
Despite that fact, the fashion magazines have almost completely ignored her since she first moved into the White House.
However, Vogue finally wrote about Melania, but only to attack her official First Lady portrait.

In a move sure to send a message to any models who might disagree with their left-wing views, the magazine’s writers took “vicious” swipes at the First Lady’s new portrait.
The Daily Mail reported that “Vogue launched a vicious review of Melania Trump’s newly-revealed White House portrait, comparing the first lady’s look to that of a magician. The magazine spent four years fawning over the previous White House administration, featuring both Jill Biden and Kamala Harris on the cover several times each, and its latest piece on Melania reaffirms their preference for Democrats.”

Vogue went out of its way to glamorize Jill Biden, Michelle Obama, and Kamala Harris.
Virtually the entire media industry is run by politically-motivated leftists.
The Daily Mail added that “Vogue‘s editor-in-chief Anna Wintour is a known Democrat – and was once even rumored to be considered for an ambassadorship under president Barack Obama. ‘Trump looked more like a freelance magician than a public servant,’ wrote Hannah Jackson about the white-and-black portrait by Régine Mahaux. Jackson raged against the ‘situationally inappropriate tuxedo’ worn by Melania for the historic photograph, which shows the first lady in a power pose.”
It’s quite telling that Vogue refused to shoot a glamor spread for Melania, but now the rag is trashing her fashion sense.
Vogue journalist Hannah Jackson also wrote, “Trump’s clothing certainly didn’t help the boardroom pastiche. . .Trump looked more like she was guest starring on an episode of The Apprentice than assuming the role of first lady of the United States.”
Even fashion magazines have been politicized
No fashion magazine would have been that hostile toward Obama or Biden.
Jackson concluded, “It’s perhaps unsurprising that a woman who lived in a gold-encrusted penthouse, whose fame is so intertwined with a reality television empire, would refuse to abandon theatrics—even when faced with 248 years of tradition.”
The Vogue hit piece illustrates just how vindictive the Left can be.
The Daily Mail also reported, “The black and white image was a big departure from former First Ladies, who have traditionally chosen much more colorful images. Instead, Melania, whose stylist Hervé Pierre has revealed in the past that it’s difficult to dress her because many American designers refuse, showed off a black Dolce & Gabbana pantsuit with a white shirt. . .While Democratic first ladies such as Michelle Obama and Hillary Clinton were put on the Vogue cover, Republicans such as Laura and Barbara Bush were not.”
American designers refuse to work with a former model because of her husband’s politics.
Melania Trump was secretly recorded railing against Vogue in a conversation that leaked in 2018.
Frustrated that she had been shunned by the fashion industry, Melania said, “Vogue said like, oh, we want to do a profile. Profile? F*** you, profile. I don’t need no profile. Yeah, what I need another profile? It might be a cover. I’m like, might be a cover? I don’t give a f*** about Vogue and any magazine.”
Despite the childish games being played by the media, the Trumps are back in the White House.
