Donald Trump has not wasted a second as his new administration takes off.
That has triggered the Democrats into full-on #Resistance mode.
But Democrats were incensed when they saw one surprising report about Trump.
Trump approval soars
Donald Trump’s political future seemed murky at best after January 6.
However, Trump pulled off a historic comeback to return to the White House.
He did so by trouncing Kamala Harris in all seven battleground states, and winning the popular vote.
No Republican in the last 20 years had won the popular vote in a Presidential election.
Despite Trump’s victory, Democrats and their media allies have denied the reality that he has a political mandate.
But a recent poll showed that Trump hit a new high-water in his approval rating.
Newsweek reported that the “beginning of President Donald Trump’s second term has seen his net approval rating reach a historic high, according to Rasmussen Reports, with the latest Presidential Tracking Poll showing a net approval of +14. This marks a significant milestone for Trump, breaking previous records set during his first term.”
The poll showed that the Trump Derangement Syndrome of the Democrats is wearing thin.
Newsweek added that the “poll, conducted by the conservative-leaning polling company over a two-day average from approximately 829 U.S. likely voters, showed that 54 percent of respondents approve of Trump’s job performance, while 40 percent disapprove.”
Trump made gains all over the country during the 2024 election.
He even outperformed expectations in deep-blue strongholds.
Trump did 11 points better in New York when compared to 2020, and he did 10 points better in California compared to 2020.
Setting new marks
Newsweek added that the “latest numbers represent a remarkable achievement for Trump, eclipsing his previous net approval high of +10, which was recorded twice in 2017: from January 24-26 and February 14-16. During those periods, Trump garnered 55 percent approval, but his disapproval rating also stood at 45 percent, resulting in a smaller net gain compared to the current figures.”
Trump also improved among nontraditional Republican voters.
He garnered 20% of the black male vote, and 30% of the black male vote under the age of 45.
Trump also won an outright majority of the Hispanic male vote.
“According to Rasmussen’s polling, 49 percent of Black voters approve of Trump, while 72 percent of Hispanic voters approve,” Newsweek also reported. “Some 57 percent of women also approve, and 48 percent of independent voters.”
Democrats’ Orange Man Bad hysteria has worn thin.
After nearly a decade of screeching, people are worn out.
It also doesn’t help the Democrats’ cause that they have gone completely insane.
Their position on biological males competing in women’s sports and being housed in women’s prisons is wildly unpopular.
Nevertheless, Democrats are pursuing those outrageous policy positions.
Trump, for all his bluster and showmanship, represents a return to normalcy.
Until the Democrats abandon ludicrous positions like open borders and men in women’s sports, Trump will likely continue to rise in popularity.
