Democrats have gone off the rails pushing their far-left agenda.
That should leave an easy opening for attacks.
But conservatives are facing this awful reality in the fight against Kamala Harris’ extremist agenda.
Democrat policies have become so insane that voters think they’re fake
The Democrat Party made a hard Left turn when former President Donald Trump was in the White House.
Policies that once would have been considered too extreme on a college campus became part of the Democrat agenda.
Radical gender ideologies, banning fossil fuels, and defunding the police became the default positions for Democrats.
That should have made it easy for Republicans to be able to attack for being so far outside the mainstream with their leftist agenda.
But the Democrat agenda has become so crazy that Republican political operatives say that voters think they made it up.
A Republican Congressional staffer made the grim confession to Tablet Magazine about what he found testing attacks.
“When you outline the Democratic agenda, you have to water it down, because in both polling and focus groups, people just don’t believe it,” the staffer said.
Voters simply refused a growing trend in blue states of schools helping students change genders was real.
“They are critical of things like boys in girls’ sports, but they tune out stuff about schools not informing parents about transitioning their children,” the staffer explained. “They just don’t believe it’s true. It can’t be.”
Another Republican campaign operative told Tablet that the details surrounding sex changes are so horrific that voters tune it out.
“Phrases like ‘genital mutilation’ are disgusting and viscerally off-putting, even to voters who may be sympathetic to the Republicans’ position but will just write you off as a freak for talking about it that way,” the operative stated.
Democrats rely on their control of the media and pop culture
The Left is able to use the media and popular culture to frame issues the way they want and avoid the political backlash.
“All of it is insulated by their absolute confidence that they can just use their control over communications institutions to just say words, including change of language, right? Flip a switch and it’s now gender affirming care. Flip a switch and it’s now undocumented migrants, or undocumented Americans. Flip a switch and now you can change people’s pronouns,” a Republican operative explained.
Vice President Kamala Harris supported paying for sex change operations for illegal aliens and heinous criminals in prison.
As California Attorney General, she made it the state’s policy to pay for the sex change operations of prisoners after she settled a lawsuit to pay for the surgery for a criminal who kidnapped and murdered a man while he was begging for his life.
Former President Donald Trump attacked Kamala in the September Presidential debate over this extremist policy.
But her allies in the media thought it was so crazy that Trump just made it up.
The New Yorker columnist Susan Glazer penned an article that claimed that the idea of Kamala supporting was so looney that it had to be false.
“What the hell was he talking about?” Glasser wrote. “No one knows, which was, of course, exactly Harris’ point.”
Democrats have taken their agenda so far outside the bounds of what most Americans can imagine that Republicans are in a pickle.
