Media bias became one of the dominant stories of the 2024 election.

But the press saved one of its most egregious examples of biasing their coverage against Trump for last.

And a damning video exposed this ugly truth about The Washington Post.

The press laid their entire body on the scale to try and tip the race to Kamala Harris

Hugh Hewitt is a center-right columnist and establishment-friendly enough that The Washington Post hired him as one of their opinion columnists.

But Hewitt’s time at the Post came to an explosive end.

Hewitt appeared on The Washington Post’s “First Look” online with leftwing host Jonathan Capehart and far-left columnist Ruth Marcus.

Marcus and Capehart accused Trump of making allegations of voter suppression in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, when the state shut down a voting site for residents to cast early votes by picking up and mailing their ballots in person – what’s called in-person mail ballot voting.

The state closed down the site with people still in line, and the Trump campaign sued.

Trump won in court, resulting in Bucks County opening up for additional in-person mail ballot voting.

Hewitt interrupted Capehart and Marcus falsely claiming that Trump was peddling lies about what happened in Bucks County to remind them this was no conspiracy theory and that they should report the truth that a Judge agreed with Trump that irregularities took place.

“I’ve just got to say, we’re news people, even though we’re at the Opinion Section. It’s got to be reported. Bucks County was reversed by the court and instructed to open up extra days because they violated the law and told people to go home. So that lawsuit was by the Republican National Committee, and it was successful. The Supreme Court ruled that Glenn Youngkin was successful,” Hewitt began.

“We are news people, even though we have opinions, and we have to report the whole story if we bring up part of the story. So yes, he’s upset about Bucks County, but he was right and he won in court. That’s the story,” Hewitt added.

Capehart is one of the nastiest leftists in the media.

And Capehart snidely replied to Hewitt that he was a font of misinformation telling Hewitt is regularly “saying lots of things that aren’t basic fact.”

Hugh Hewitt quits The Washington Post live on the air

That was enough for Hewitt who tore out his earpiece and quit right then and there.

“I will not come back, Jonathan. How’s that? I’m done. This is the most unfair election ad I have ever been a part of. You guys are working. That’s fine. I’m done,” Hewitt declared.

Hewitt later told Fox News Digital that his leaving the livestream was his official exit from the Washington Post.

“I have in fact quit the Post but I was only writing a column for them every six weeks or so,” Hewitt stated.

Hewitt received praise from conservatives on social media for standing up to the biased “reporters” and putting them in their place with facts and then refusing to play their game by quitting.
