Manhattan Judge’s daughter is a Democrat political consultant
Democrat Judge Juan Merchan worked hand in hand with Soros-backed Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg to convict former President Donald Trump on 34 felonies pulled out of thin air.
Merchan – a donor to President Joe Biden’s 2020 campaign – ruled against Trump at every turn and rigged the jury instructions to ensure that he was convicted.
The Judge’s conflict of interest in the case went beyond his political contributions to Biden and an anti-Trump PAC.
His daughter, Loren Merchan, is the president of Authentic Campaigns, a powerhouse Democrat political fundraising firm.
Authentic Campaigns has clients like Representative Adam Schiff (D-CA), Vice President Kamala Harris, and the 2020 Biden campaign.
Loren Merchan’s Democrat clients were raising money off the Trump trial while her dad was presiding over the case.
Jim Jordan gave his last warning to the CEO of the firm Manhattan Judge’s daughter worked for
House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) sent a letter warning Authentic Campaigns CEO Michael Nellis’ attorney after his client blew off two subpoenas for documents related to the Trump case.
“On August 28, 2024, the Committee on the Judiciary issued your client, Michael Nellis, a subpoena for two categories of documents relating to the Committee’s oversight of the Manhattan District Attorney’s political prosecution of President Trump. On the subpoena’s return date, September 13, 2024, you sent a letter on Mr. Nellis’s behalf outlining your objections to the subpoena,” Jordan wrote.
Nellis denied that his firm ever had any communications with Judge Merchan.
But he refused to sign a sworn affidavit from Jordan stating he had no communications.
Nellis claimed Jordan’s investigation was “absurd and completely false” and a violation of his First Amendment rights.
Jordan stated in his letter that seeking the documents was a violation of Nellis’ constitutional rights.
“These objections mirror concerns that your client has raised, and the Committee has addressed, in previous correspondence. The objections to the subpoena are unfounded and unpersuasive, and do not excuse your client’s noncompliance with the subpoena. The Committee writes to overrule your objections and to provide Mr. Nellis a final opportunity to comply with the subpoena,” Jordan stated.
Jordan noted that a federal campaign finance record revealed that Kamala’s campaign paid Authentic Campaigns for web hosting in July.
“Separately, recent campaign filings by the Harris campaign appear to contradict statements Mr. Nellis previously made to the Committee, and he has failed to certify those statements. This information raises the prospect that he has made false statements to the Committee, which are subject to criminal penalties under Section 1001 of Title 18 of the United States Code,” Jordan added
Jordan could move forward contempt of Congress proceedings against Nellis for defying a lawful subpoena.
Former Trump White House advisors Steve Bannon and Peter Navarro were sentenced to four months in prison each by the Biden-Harris administration for ignoring subpoenas from former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) sham January 6 Committee.
A future Trump Justice Department could pick up the option to prosecute Michael Nellis for contempt.
