Venezuelan prison gang’s reach is spreading
The Biden-Harris administration’s decision to open the southern border has allowed millions of illegal aliens to pour into the country.
Anyone can stroll across the border and be released into the interior of the country.
Venezuelan socialist dictator Nicolas Maduro emptied his country’s prisons and asylums.
That allowed the prison gang Tren de Aragua to expand its reach into the United States.
Now the gang has evolved into a transnational criminal organization.
NewsNation host Jorge Ventura broke down the spread of Tren de Aragua in the United States.
“But now, for the first time, we’re seeing this gang spreading their influence here in the United States by taking advantage of the border crisis,” Ventura explained. “The gang is now operating in multiple states like Colorado, Wisconsin, New York, here where I am in Texas, Florida, and more.”
A Homeland Security Investigations report from July revealed that Tren de Aragua members in Colorado were given the green light to open fire on law enforcement by the gang’s leadership.
Viral video makes Venezuela gang famous
Tren de Aragua received national attention after a video went viral on social media of the gang’s members threatening residents of an Aurora, Colorado, apartment complex.

The gang took over at least three apartment complexes in the Denver suburb to extort residents and use as a base for their criminal operations.
Machete-wielding Tren de Aragua members recently took over a hotel in the border city of El Paso, Texas.
Ventura warned that big problems were coming as the gang expanded its operations.
“In addition to being spotted in New York, Colorado, and Texas, Tren de Aragua has expanded to Miami, Chicago, and Wisconsin,” Ventura said. “U.S. officials fear the Tren de Aragua gang could destabilize these areas much like they did in South America, as this organization is notorious for brutal violence, drug trafficking, and extortion.”
And the Biden-Harris administration is going to roll out the welcome mat for more of them to enter the country.
“Speaking with immigration lawyers who represent Venezuelan migrants, they say they’re concerned that more of these gang members could come into the United States legally by using the CBP One app,” Ventura explained.
Illegal aliens are being granted asylum by the Biden-Harris administration and are given the CBP One app, a concierge service to the asylum system.
“After that, we reported here at NewsNation about the lack of adequate screening, as we do not share a database with Venezuela,” Ventura continued. “Another area of concern is that some of these gang members are once again coming in technically legally through the application process.”
More than 100 criminal investigations have been opened in Tren de Aragua around the country.
Kamala Harris has allowed a violent gang of illegal aliens to flourish under her watch.
