Kamala Harris thought she was getting a Midwestern Dad when she chose Tim Walz to be her running mate.
Instead, her pick became a political liability.
And now Tim Walz was just torn to shreds by the last person he expected.
Tim Walz’s brother backs Trump
Vice President Kamala Harris raised eyebrows when she selected Minnesota Governor Tim Walz to be her running mate.
Many expected her to pick Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro, who has a 61% approval rating in the state.
Pennsylvania also happens to be the most important swing state in the 2024 Presidential election cycle.
Harris bypassed the more moderate Shapiro for Walz, who is a fire-breathing radical.
When asked point-blank if he was a centrist or a progressive, he answered that he was a “progressive.”
Walz also said in an interview, “Don’t ever shy away from our progressive values. One person’s socialism is another person’s neighborliness.”
In the middle of a rally, Walz boasted that he was to the left of former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) on abortion.
Walz declared, “My record is so pro-choice, Nancy Pelosi asked me if I should tone it down.”
Walz was also accused of stolen valor by men who served with him in the Minnesota National Guard.
These are some of the reasons why many do not see any midwestern values reflected in him.
That includes members of his own family.
Walz’s brother Jeff wrote on Facebook, “The stories I could tell. Not the type of character you want making decisions about your future.”
When asked about his brother, Jeff Walz responded, “Haven’t spoke to him in 8 years. I’m 100% opposed to all his ideology.”
After his brother was tapped by Harris to be her running mate, Jeff Walz explained, “My family wasn’t given any notice that he was selected and denied security the days after.”
Jeff Walz appears to be a Donald Trump supporter, as are other members of the Walz family.

Walz’s cousins in Nebraska posed for a photo, where they were all wearing T-shirts in support of Trump.
The Nebraska Walzes wrote in a statement, “Shortly after Governor Tim Walz was named the Democrat Party Vice Presidential nominee, our family had a get-together. We had t-shirts made to show support for President Trump and J.D. Vance and took a group picture. That photo was shared with friends, and when we were asked for permission to post the picture, we agreed. The picture is real. The shirts are real. We are the Nebraska Walz family and we are related to Gov. Tim Walz, our grandfathers were brothers. The message on the shirts speaks for itself.”

Many on the Left lost their minds over members of the Walz family supporting Trump.
But they were giddy to platform Trump’s nephew and niece that have routinely attacked him publicly.
Donald Trump is arguably the most famous person in the world.
Everyone has an opinion about him.
But people are just beginning to learn about the Harris-Walz ticket, and the media image that has been sold is not matching reality.
