Gabbard establishes a new task force to police Intelligence Community after NSA hid sexually explicit chat rooms for years
Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard dropped a bombshell announcement this week about the Intelligence Community’s inner workings that has left Washington elites panicking.
Gabbard established a powerful new task force called the Director’s Initiatives Group (DIG) that’s already working to expose corruption and politicization that festered under previous administrations.
“In order to rebuild trust in the Intelligence Community and execute the tasks required by President Trump’s intelligence-related Executive Orders, I established the Director’s Initiatives Group to bring about transparency and accountability across the IC. We are already identifying wasteful spending in real time, streamlining outdated processes, reviewing documents for declassification, and leading ongoing efforts to root out abuses of power and politicization,” Gabbard said in a statement released on April 8.
But it’s what the task force has already uncovered that has Democrats fuming.
Gabbard revealed that the Biden administration knew about “very sexually explicit, highly inappropriate and unprofessional chatter” happening on internal agency messaging boards across national intelligence entities for years but allowed it to continue unchecked.
Even more shocking, Gabbard exposed that these chat rooms “were set up because of DEI policies” – a direct result of the radical left-wing agenda being pushed throughout government agencies.
The sexually inappropriate messages weren’t just from low-level employees. Chat logs from the National Security Agency’s “Intelink” messaging platform showed employees from multiple intelligence agencies – including the Defense Intelligence Agency, U.S. Naval Intelligence, and the NSA – discussing explicit sexual topics while taxpayers footed the bill.
Gabbard strips security clearances from Biden and Clinton
In a move sending shockwaves through Washington, D.C. Gabbard didn’t stop at exposing the chat room scandal.
She’s also taken decisive action to revoke security clearances for high-profile Democrats who no longer have an active role in national security. Those cut off from classified intelligence now include former President Biden, failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, and former Vice President Kamala Harris.
The Director also took away clearances from “the 51 signers of the Hunter Biden ‘disinformation’ letter” – the former intelligence officials who falsely claimed Hunter Biden’s laptop was Russian disinformation just weeks before the 2020 election.
Gabbard’s task force already has an extensive to-do list that’s making the Washington establishment squirm:
- Reviewing documents for potential declassification about COVID-19 origins
- Investigating the FBI’s Crossfire Hurricane operation against Donald Trump
- Releasing assassination files on JFK, RFK, and MLK
- Exposing the Biden administration’s domestic surveillance and censorship actions against Americans
- Rooting out wasteful spending and bloated bureaucracy
- Pursuing unauthorized leaks of classified information
“President Trump promised the American people maximum transparency and accountability,” Gabbard stated. “We are committed to executing the President’s vision and focusing the Intelligence Community on its core mission: ensuring our security by providing the President and policymakers with timely, apolitical, objective, relevant intelligence to inform their decision-making to ensure the safety, security and freedom of the American people.”
The Deep State fights back
Democrats are already crying foul over Gabbard’s aggressive moves to drain the Intelligence Community swamp.
Their complaints ring hollow considering the politically motivated leaks and targeted operations that became commonplace during previous administrations.
In February, Gabbard first hinted at the scope of the problems she inherited when she mentioned the sexually explicit NSA chat rooms.
The NSA was forced to acknowledge it was “actively investigating” potential abuses of the agency-operated messaging platform after evidence became impossible to ignore.
Sources close to the Intelligence Community say this is just the beginning of what Gabbard’s task force is set to uncover. Her efforts align with multiple Executive Orders signed by President Trump aimed at ending weaponization of the federal government, restoring free speech, ending wasteful DEI programs, and holding former officials accountable.
While Democrats scream about Gabbard’s actions, the American people are finally getting a glimpse behind the curtain at what their tax dollars have been funding.
