Just moments after winning the 2024 election, Donald Trump started making high-profile nominations for his Cabinet.
The young guns in Trump’s incoming administration could completely upend the Washington, D.C., Swamp.
And now this Trump appointee just dropped jaws with this announcement about his plans for the incoming administration.
FCC commissioner lays out his vision for the future as Donald Trump prepares for his second term
On the campaign trail, Donald Trump promised to go after bad actors who worked to censor Americans online.
These bad actors include government officials and Big Tech companies, among others, who at times worked together to silence anybody who dared to defy the radical agenda of the Biden-Harris regime.
And, with Donald Trump set to take the Oath of Office next month, Americans expect major changes to come to Washington.
Just the other day, Federal Communications Commission (FCC) commissioner Brendan Carr spoke out about the Trump administration’s plans to hold Big Tech and other bad actors accountable for facilitating censorship of Americans online.
Carr, who Donald Trump first nominated to an FCC seat during his first term, has now been nominated to serve as the Chairman of the FCC during Donald Trump’s second term.
Last Sunday on Fox News, Carr explained that, “Combating tech censorship is going to be one of the top priorities for me. “Facebook and other companies — they have been part of a censorship cartel that have worked with advertisers.”
“They have worked with government officials to censor the free speech rights of everyday Americans. That’s got to end because censorship isn’t just about stopping words. It’s about stopping ideas. America is a country of founders, of people that have pushed boundaries, pushed frontiers,” the FCC commissioner added.
As Carr noted on Fox News last Sunday, social media companies have used advertising revenue as leverage for users who dare to speak out against the Biden-Harris regime.
For example, if a page or internet user speaks out about a topic that defies the narrative coming from the White House, then the social media company would in some cases “demonetize” the user or the page.
Demonetizing these pages effectively silences these pages, as they cannot afford to create content at a financial loss.
The Biden-Harris administration has worked tirelessly to defy the First Amendment
Over the last four years, the Biden-Harris administration has worked tirelessly to flout the First Amendment.
Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg even admitted to working with the Biden-Harris regime to silence Americans online in a letter to Congressman Jim Jordan (R-OH).
Zuckerberg even claimed that White House officials would get angry whenever Meta pushed back against their censorship demands.
This represents just one example of a company working with the White House to flout the First Amendment, a practice that the American public voted to end as soon as Donald Trump returns to office this January.
