The harpies on The View are having a hard time dealing with the results of the election.
A bad case of Trump Derangement Syndrome is leading to some hair-brained schemes.
And The View’s Sunny Hostin came up with one terrible plan to ruin Thanksgiving dinner.
The View encourages its audience to skip Thanksgiving if Trump supporters
Fear and loathing have taken over the set of ABC’s The View after President-elect Donald Trump cruised to victory over Vice President Kamala Harris.
The daytime talk show arguably set the stage for Kamala’s defeat when co-host Sunny Hostin asked her what she would do differently than President Joe Biden and the Vice President said she couldn’t think of a thing.
Hostin has taken Kamala’s loss harder than anyone on the show.
A discussion on the show took the reaction to Trump’s victory to the extreme.
Hostin told co-host Sara Haines that viewers should skip Thanksgiving dinner if any of their family members voted for Trump.
Haines argued that politics shouldn’t get in the way of family members for the holiday season.
“I’m gonna disagree,” Hostin said. “I completely understand her point because I really do feel that this candidate — you know, President-elect Trump — is just a different type of candidate, from the things he said, and the things he’s done, and the things he will do.”
Hostin claimed that it was a moral issue for her and Democrats.
“We’re just — I would say it was different when, let’s say [George W. Bush], got elected,” Hostin argued. “You may not have agreed with his policies, but you didn’t feel like he was a deeply flawed person — deeply flawed by character, deeply flawed in morality.”
Hostin conveniently forgot that Democrats argued that Bush was Satan incarnate for years until Trump came along.
Co-hosts Sara Haines and Alyssa Farah Griffin pointed out that Bush was an object of scorn in his day.
“I think when people feel that someone voted not only against their families but against them and against people that they loved, I think it’s okay to take a beat,” Hostin said.
She wants viewers to skip the holidays over the election while claiming that Trump is a divisive figure full of hatred.
Democrats can’t cope with the results of the election
MSNBC’s Joy Reid kicked off the trend of Democrats celebrating the holidays alone with some truly unhinged advice from Yale psychiatrist Amanda Calhoun.
Calhoun encouraged Democrats to cut off family members who supported Trump.
“So if you are going to a situation where you have family members, where you have close friends who you know have voted in ways that are against you, like what you said, against your livelihood, it’s completely fine to not be around those people and to tell them why, you know, to say, ‘I have a problem with the way that you voted, because it went against my very livelihood and I’m not going to be around you this holiday,’” Calhoun ranted.
Hostin thought that was sage advice.
Donald Trump broke so many on the Left with his decisive victory.
