Donald Trump is going to receive heavy pushback against his agenda.
The battle lines are already being drawn for when he takes office.
And Steve Bannon heard three words about the Deep State that let him know this fight was on.
Trump administration is going to face unprecedented pushback
War Room podcast host Steve Bannon has become one of the top voices for grassroots supporters of President-elect Donald Trump.
He warned that opposition in the Washington, D.C., Swamp was going to pull out all the stops to thwart Trump’s agenda.
“They think that this gonna be now a test of wills. ‘OK, you won the election. Now let’s see what you’re gonna do about it,’” Bannon explained. “They will use anything to test the courage, tenacity, and grit.”
Trump and his supporters have to stand firm in pushing for his agenda according to Bannon.
Bannon asked his guest, Human Events Daily host Jack Posobiec, what Trump was walking into in Washington, D.C.
“Is this a hostile takeover of a hostile governmental apparatus, or is this a garden party that President Trump is entering into when he returns to the imperial capital, sir?” Bannon asked.
Posobiec urged the incoming Trump administration that it needs to copy the military’s strategy and send a message earlier to the opposition.
“It needs to be a hostile takeover because look, something you learn in the military, there’s a phrase called, and of course, Joy Reid’s s gonna love it when I say this,” Posobiec said. “It’s called ‘Violence of Action.’ What that means is you have to be quick, you have to be swift, and you have to be determined, and using that same word I said: resolve.”
Trump needs to hit the ground running
He argued that Trump needed to get started right after the inauguration on his agenda.
“You know what, have the incoming chief of staff Susie Wiles right there with a stack of papers and have him start signing right on the steps of the US Capitol,” Posobiec explained. “Why not? In front of everybody. ‘Boom boom boom, mass deportations, boom, border shut, boom, pulling out of Syria, boom, Ukraine war.’ All of it, because it’s got to be that level of action in front of the American people.”
Posobiec reminded that former FBI director James Comey launched a witch hunt against Trump’s former National Security advisor Michael Flynn the same week as the 2017 inauguration.
“Understand, those are the people you’re up against,” Posobiec stated. “These snakes, these cells have not left, they’re still there and they’re all activated.”
Bannon thought that Trump signing executive orders after his inaugural speech would send a message to the political class.
“A great end to his speech: sign the 100 executive orders,” Bannon stated. “Turn the podium around and sign it right there with all of the political class with the American people having your back sign them all there and here’s what you should finish with, ‘Suck on that.’”
Donald Trump can set the tone early for his second administration by getting off to a fast start.
