The government censorship complex derailed the Kennedy campaign
Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. ended his longshot Presidential campaign and endorsed former President Donald Trump at a campaign rally in Phoenix, Arizona.
Before endorsing Trump, Kennedy initially ran in the Democrat Primary against President Joe Biden but dropped his bid and launched an Independent campaign when the Democratic National Committee (DNC) rigged the process to favor the establishment elites’ pick.
Kennedy said that one of the main reasons that he decided to run for President was to stop the growing censorship in America.
“Governments and oppressors don’t censor lies. They don’t fear lies,” Kennedy said. “They fear the truth, and that’s what they censor.”
He said that Democrats used lawfare to stop him and Trump this election.
“In the name of saving democracy, the Democratic Party set itself to dismantling it,” Kennedy explained. “Lacking confidence that its candidate could win in a fair election at the voting booth, the DNC waged continual legal warfare against both President Trump and myself.”
Joe Biden’s arsenal of government censorship
Kennedy said that the Biden White House deployed government agencies to censor him and other political opponents.
“President Biden and his White House opened up a portal, and then invited the CIA, the FBI, CISA – which is a censorship agency, the center of the censorship industrial complex – DHS, IRS, and other agencies, to censor me and other political dissidents on social media,” Kennedy stated.
Homeland Security’s Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) has a long track record of censorship.
The agency worked with Big Tech companies to target Trump, Newsmax, and other major conservative accounts for censorship during the 2020 Election.
It’s working with third-party groups this year to combat so-called misinformation during the election.
Kennedy explained that the media used combating misinformation as a pretext to subvert his First Amendment rights.
“Networks instead ran a continuous deluge of hit pieces with inaccurate, often vile pejoratives and defamatory smears,” Kennedy said. “The mainstream media was once the guardian of the First Amendment and democratic principles, and it’s joined this systemic attack on democracy. The media justifies their censorship on the grounds of combating ‘misinformation.’”
Kennedy said that Fox News was the only network he was able to consistently appear on during his 16-month Presidential campaign.
He told reporters that the mainstream media had become an extension of the government.
“Consider the many ways that your institutions have abdicated this really sacred responsibility, duty of a free press, to safeguard democracy,” Kennedy stated. “Instead of maintaining that posture of fierce skepticism toward authority, your institutions have made themselves government mouthpieces, and stenographers for the organs of power. You didn’t alone cause the demolition of American democracy, but you could have prevented it.”
Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. had the system aligned against him to keep his Presidential campaign from getting off the ground.
