Under the watch of George W. Bush and Barack Obama, the United States became engulfed in a series of seemingly endless wars.

Donald Trump has promised to avoid these types of costly engagements as long as he calls the shots.

But Pete Hegseth declared war on the New York Times after this awful disclosure about China’s plans.

The New York Times is eating their words after publishing this vicious hit piece

For years, many Americans regarded the New York Times as the “paper of record.”

Millions of Americans would read the New York Times daily, relying on the newspaper for details about cutting-edge news stories.

These days have long since passed, with many Americans now referring to the New York Times as little more than a liberal rag.

Instead of faithfully reporting the news, the New York Times has focused much of its energy on attacking Donald Trump, his administration, and the millions of Americans who support him.

Recently, the New York Times published a piece titled, “Musk Set to Get Access to Top Secret U.S. Plan for Potential War with China.”

The New York Times has since changed this headline to, “Pentagon Set Up Briefing for Musk on Potential War with China.”

In this piece, New York Times writers Eric Schmitt, Eric Lipton, Julian E. Barnes, Ryan Mac, and Maggie Haberman used five anonymous sources, calling into question the validity of the many outrageous claims made in this story.

Throughout the piece, the writers claim that Elon Musk is chomping at the bit to play a central role in a possible war with China.

These outrageous claims caught the attention of Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, who sent Chief Pentagon Spokesman Sean Parnell to tear the New York Times apart for this piece in a recent press conference.

Parnell pointed toward the original headline of the story, telling the press, “This is egregious. This is fake. The New York Times should retract this story. Five anonymous sources. I’ve been on bilat calls with the Secretary.”

“I see how hard he’s working to implement its agenda and pursue peace through strength, this type of garbage from the New York Times undermines that process and undermines that mission, it shouldn’t happen at all,” the top Pentagon spokesman added.

Parnell then noted Musk’s involvement at the Department of Defense, telling reporters, “We want a guy like Elon Musk in the Defense Department to help us come up with creative solutions to the problems that we face of the day. But this article, this article is ridiculous. It’s fake, and I can confirm that on the record.”

Americans have lost faith in mainstream media sources like the New York Times

Many Americans have turned their backs on mainstream media sources like the New York Times in recent years.

Instead, most Americans prefer to get their news from trusted podcasts and social media sources.

Donald Trump used this shift in how Americans consume media to his advantage last year, appearing on a long list of podcasts and other high-profile media platforms.

Many people no longer trust the New York Times and other mainstream media outlets like it, knowing that these sources often create less than reliable pieces and “stories.”
