Millions of people across the Western world have cast, or will cast their vote this year with major elections taking place in the United States, United Kingdom, and France, among other places.
Powerful government officials have fretted about these elections, knowing that it could strip them of the power and control they could cherish.
And now Pentagon officials have some explaining to do after this damning revelation stirs up outrage.
Jaw-dropping report shows that powerful global entities may have teamed up to stifle democracy
In just about a week, American voters will cast their votes, if they have not already.
Meanwhile, millions of voters already participated in massive elections in France, the United Kingdom, and elsewhere earlier this year.
With so much at stake this year, government entities from across the Western world have dumped billions into dubious programs, designed to stifle the press and freedom of speech.
After all, for many elected officials and bureaucrats, gaining power and holding onto that power is their top priority.
For example, just last Friday, Congressman James Comer (R-KY) issued a scathing letter to a so-called media “watchdog” company called NewsGuard, asking that the company turn over documents that could prove that they participated in a dubious censorship scheme.
Comer sent this letter after discovering that the company allegedly called for the censorship of the New York Post in the days leading up to the 2020 Presidential election.
Even more shocking, NewsGuard received funding from the Pentagon, the United States State Department, and the European Union.
In his letter to NewsGuard‘s CEOs Steven Brill and Gordon Crovitz, Comer writes, “The Committee writes today to seek additional documents and communications from NewsGuard related to all past and present contracts with or grants administered by federal government agencies or any other government entity, including foreign governments.”
“The protection of First Amendment rights of American citizens is paramount and attempts by government actors to infringe on those rights is dangerous and misguided,” the Congressman from Kentucky added.
Following the outbreak of the pandemic, the United States federal government awarded a $25,000 grant to NewsGuard to dispel so-called pandemic “misinformation.”
Following Joe Biden’s ascent to the White House, this relatively small grant ballooned into a massive partnership, with multiple government agencies employing the use of “misinformation prevention” programs from NewsGuard and other groups.
Comer addressed this alarming censorship infrastructure, telling NewsGuard in his recent letter, “These wide-ranging connections with various government agencies are taking place as the government is rapidly expanding into the censorship sphere”
“For example, one search of government grants and contracts from 2016 through 2023 revealed that there were 538 separate grants and 36 different government contracts specifically to address ‘misinformation’ and ‘disinformation,’” an outraged Comer added.
The radical Left has proven that they will do anything to circumvent American democracy
Leftists and so-called moderate Republicans often like to claim that Donald Trump and his movement represent a “threat to democracy.”
However, upon closer inspection, it becomes obvious that the Biden-Harris regime has dumped massive amounts of taxpayer dollars to try and control what people see and thus how they think.
That way, they can hold onto power, dismissing anything Donald Trump or his allies say as “misinformation.”
