Donald Trump is uprooting waste, fraud, and abuse inside the federal government.
This has thrown the Left into utter chaos.
And one shocking video proved why Trump needs to go after this payoff to the teacher unions.
Department of Education rot
For decades, Republicans have paid lip service to slashing the federal government.
Donald Trump is actually doing it, and he has received unrelenting pushback from Permanent Washington, the Democrats, and their media comrades.
Trump shined a light on the Department of Education, which has become a sacred institution for the Left.
Created in 1979, the Department of Education has had no appreciable impact on education.
Educational outcomes have completely flatlined over the past 40-plus years since the inception of the department, but DOE spending has increased significantly.
Trump wants to check under the hood and eliminate unnecessary programs, and the Left were hysterical.
But the DOE is a money pit that also funds “woke” garbage.
For example, the DOE’s Comprehensive Center pushes far-left gobbledygook.
Taxpayer-funded radicalization
In one disturbing video, an “educator” during a Centering Family & Community Wisdom lecture led a discussion about “the White gaze, or the white man’s gaze, the white man sitting on her shoulder telling her not to write those things. . .”
He continued, “We are—I’ll just be bold and claim—undeniably sitting in systems that are meant to assimilate us.”
This has been a rallying cry from the Left for years, i.e. do not “assimilate” to American culture.
He added, “The whole founding of formal education in these territories was meant to erase indigeneity. . .scrubbed clean to participate in a settler society. Why bring that up now? Well, we still live in a settler colonial reality.”
This nonsense is being funded by American taxpayers.
He later declared, “Flick that white man off your shoulder—and it’s not about individual white people, individual white men—it’s about the settler colonial reality and the settler patriarchy that pushes us to move and behave in certain ways that—what if that wasn’t there? . . . Because I realized once you flick that settler gaze—the person holding that settler gaze—off your shoulder, who takes the place? My ancestors took place.”
The Department of Education’s Comprehensive Center instructs teachers to “flick that white man off your shoulder” in order to resist the “settler patriarchy” and the “white gaze.”

Much of the federal government is a left-wing patronage system.
These people would not have jobs if they were not getting paid by the federal government.
Conservative activist and journalist Christopher Rufo has recently been focusing on DOE rot that could be removed by the Trump administration.
Rufo wrote, “I released material from an ongoing investigation into ideological corruption at the Department of Education and its sprawling NGO network. This material painted a damning picture of the department’s reigning ideologies. In one video, a Department of Education-funded NGO argued that public-school educators should destigmatize child ‘sex work,’ especially for ‘queer and trans people of color’ and ‘LGBTQ+ youth.’ In another, activists with a Department of Education-affiliated NGO claimed that babies develop racial biases and begin “attributing negative traits” to nonwhite races by age five. And finally, I published a clip from an NGO that had received an $8 million grant to promote the idea that America is a ‘racialized structure of power, privilege, [and] oppression.’”
There is no reason for taxpayers to fund this trash.
