Game of Thrones captured the imagination of America en route to becoming a cultural phenomenon.
However, that doesn’t mean working Americans care about what the actors on the show have to say about politics.
And now one Game of Thrones star is losing fans in droves after picking this insane hill to die on.
Disney set a precedent with Gina Carano
At the height of her popularity starring in the hit show, The Mandalorian, Gina Carano was a victim of cancel culture and subsequently fired, Why?
Because she took three stances that the extreme Left refused to abide by.
First, in the face of Big Media proclaiming it to be the “safest and most secure election in history,” the former MMA star asked questions about the 2020 election results.
She also stood up to self-proclaimed, “The Science,” Dr. Anthony Fauci.
Carano spoke out against the nanny state encouraging Americans to report their neighbors during the pandemic for not complying with draconian lockdowns and mask mandates.
And strike three was former the American Gladiator star, reminding her social media followers that a certain German dictator disarmed the German populous before instituting his genocide.
The woke mob sharpened their pitchforks and lit their torches, demanding Carano’s head.
And Disney caved to the radical leftists.
They fired her from The Mandalorian and scrapped plans for a spin-off series centered around her character in the show.
Now people are pointing out why Disney didn’t apply these similar standards to Carano’s former Mandalorian co-star Pedro Pascal.
Pedro Pascal attacks his common-sense fans
Unlike Carano, who has voiced her support for many of President Donald Trump’s cabinet choices – especially Tulsi Gabbard – Pedro Pascal is not on the big-tent Right.
He’s an unabashed leftist.
And Pascal apparently hasn’t received the message that most American families do not support the “trans rights” movement.
Pascal posted a picture on Instagram of a sign on a door, reading, “A world without trans people has never existed. And never will.”

He didn’t stop there, adding a caption that further alienated much of his fanbase.
“I can’t think of anything more vile and small and pathetic than terrorizing the smallest, most vulnerable community of people who want nothing from you, except the right to exist,” Pascal posted.
Of course, no one is denying trans people the “right to exist.”
The issue at hand is pushing trans ideology on children, allowing biological males into places and situations where their presence poses a risk to females – like women’s sports and female prison cells – and encouraging Americans to deny hard realities.
Many of Pascal’s fans voiced their disappointment over his radical viewpoint.
“You were my favourite actor…. I’m unfollowing you…. Bullit,” one account responded.
But Pascal didn’t reverse course and instead mocked his dissenters.
“Nooooooooooo,” Pascal sarcastically replied to the above comment.
“That’s too bad,” He responded to a similar commentor. “Wait, no I don’t give a sh.”
If not for double standards, Disney would have no standards at all
Of course, to this point, the House of the Mouse isn’t making a peep about Pascal’s radical post, nor his poor treatment of Disney viewers – viewers the struggling entertainment conglomerate desperately needs.
And nor should Pascal be fired for his political views.
But the same freedom of speech and expression should have been extended to Pascal’s former co-star, Gina Carano.
Of course, these situations aren’t equal.
Carano never berated fans for voicing an opposing opinion.
Another difference is that Pascal is by far a bigger star.
Following his run on Game of Thrones, Pascal took on the titular character in the Disney+ steaming service’s one hit show, The Mandalorian.
He also scored the lead in HBO’s The Last of Us.
And he’s starred in multiple movies, including 2022’s underrated, The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, opposite Nicolas Cage.
However, the difference in star power isn’t likely the cause for the difference in treatment.
That seems more likely due to the difference in political alignment, with Carano leaning right and Pascal jumping up and down on the far-left.
