There was always something off with Tim Walz.
He made another big blunder after returning to national politics.
And Karoline Leavitt demolished Tim Walz with two words that made him want to run and hide.
Tim Walz cheers for Tesla’s failure at a Democrat event
Tesla CEO Elon Musk is the latest target for the Left’s outrage over his work with the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) and support for President Donald Trump.
Democrats loved Tesla as the premier electric vehicle until Musk’s politics changed.
Now, there’s a wave of terror across the country with Tesla dealerships and charging stations being shot at, vandalized, and attacked with Molotov cocktails.
Minnesota Governor Tim Walz decided to root for the failure of an American company out of spite at a town hall in Wisconsin.
Tesla’s stock is down roughly 40% for the year during the broader market correction.
“Some of you know this, on the iPhone, they’ve got that little stock app. I added Tesla to it to give me a little boost during the day — $225 and dropping,” Walz told the crowd to cheers and laughter.
“And if you own one, we’re not blaming you. You can take dental floss and pull the Tesla thing off,” Walz added. “I’m not a vindictive person or anything but I take great pleasure in the fact that this guy’s life is going to get very, very difficult.”
Walz threw red meat to the Democrat base as he is holding town halls ahead of a potential 2028 Presidential campaign.
The Left is overcome with anger they’re cheering for a company to fail and people to lose their jobs to spite Musk.
Karoline Leavitt responds to Tim Walz’s swipe at Tesla
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt was asked about Walz’s nasty and mean-spirited comment during a press briefing.
She slammed the Minnesota Governor’s “sad existence” after the 2024 Election.
“Tim Walz said last night that he frequently checks Tesla’s stock and doing so to ‘give [him] a little boost throughout the day.’ How should Americans view politicians who take pride in the downfall of an American car company?” a reporter asked.
“I think it’s quite sad, but I think that Governor Walz unfortunately is living a sad existence after his devastating defeat on November 5,” Leavitt replied.
Walz thought that he was being cute attacking Tesla to the delight of a Democrat crowd.
But he was rooting for Minnesota’s underfunded and overgenerous pension fund for public employees to fail.
Fox News reporter Bill Melugin discovered that the Minnesota State Board of Investment owned 1.6 million shares of Tesla stock in its retirement fund and 211,000 shares in a nonretirement fund as of June last year.
He reached out to the board to see if the state still owned any Tesla stock.
Walz was celebrating the retirement fund of the public employees he claims to represent losing value out of political spite.
The Minnesota Governor continues to confirm that he isn’t ready for the primetime of national politics.
