And Harris went into hiding when she saw one disturbing report about her husband.
Second Gentleman caught up in another scandal
Democrats have a serious problem with male voters.
Longtime Democrat political strategist James Carville has been sounding the alarm on this issue for months.
Kamala Harris and the Democrats have tried to rectify this problem by presenting a “new” kind of masculinity that isn’t “toxic” or “misogynistic.”
One of the examples put forward was Harris’ husband Doug Emhoff.
But like so many male feminists, Emhoff is turning out to be a major fraud who is every bit as toxic as the caricature in the heads of Democrats.
Emhoff recently admitted to having an affair when he was married to his ex-wife.
He impregnated the nanny, and she seemingly had an abortion, although that was never confirmed.
Now a shocking report alleges that Emhoff slapped an ex-girlfriend in a fit of jealousy.
The Daily Mail reported that Emhoff “allegedly struck the woman in the face so hard she spun around, while waiting in a valet line late at night after a May 2012 Cannes Film Festival event in France. One of her friends told DailyMail.com that the woman called him immediately after the incident, sobbing in her cab, and described the alleged assault. DailyMail.com is not naming the woman, who is a successful New York attorney, but will refer to her by the pseudonym ‘Jane.’”
Jane’s white-collar friends tell similar stories
Three separate friends corroborated the story that was told to the outlet.
One friend, a New York businessman, said, “It was hard to hear her because she was sobbing. . .She told me she was with a guy and he hit her. It was very clear what she was telling me. She said she was with a guy, her date, she was at the Cannes Film Festival, and he hit her. She was in the car with the guy at the time. I didn’t know what to do, I didn’t know whether to call the French police. I couldn’t get a hold of her after calling back.”
Jane’s friend continued, “In later conversations, but pretty contemporaneous with that, she told me more about the guy. . .It was something like 3 a.m. They were trying to get out of there and they both had been drinking. There was a gigantic line for taxis. [Jane] went up to one of the valet guys, offered him 100 Euros or whatever, to get to the head of the line. She told me she put her hand on his shoulder. Doug apparently thought that she was flirting, and came over and slapped her in the face.”
That story lined up with the account of a second friend, a New York attorney.
She told The Daily Mail, “She said there’d been no fight before he hit her. You would have thought it was this fairytale trip. She put her hand on the valet’s shoulder, and as she was talking to him, Doug comes up. She said he turned her around by her right shoulder, and she was completely caught off guard. He hauled up and slapped her so hard she spun around. She said she was in utter shock. She was so furious, she slapped him on one side, and then on the other cheek with the other hand.”
The third friend, a company executive, told a similar story.
She said, “I don’t know if it was an aggressive slap or a punch, but it was something that I know she would never forget, and something that would end a relationship immediately. . .She had never been hit in her life. [Jane] is a gorgeous, strong woman and you would never expect somebody to hit her.”
If true, Emhoff is precisely the type of masculinity everyone detests.
If Harris wants to combat toxic masculinity, she might need to start in her own house.
