Josh Hawley was supposed to be one of the rising stars in the GOP.

But he stabbed conservatives in the back in one key fight.

And Josh Hawley went rogue to team up with Democrats to commit this terrible betrayal.

Josh Hawley introduces bill to help Big Labor with Democrats

President Donald Trump created a political realignment after he entered politics in 2015.

Traditionally Democrat working class voters began shifting toward the Republican Party.

Trump was able to win the Rust Belt swing states of Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania because of his strength with working-class voters.

Some Republicans have misinterpreted this shift to mean that the party should help Big Labor because they incorrectly view it as the champion of the working class.

Unions poured hundreds of millions of dollars into defeating Trump in the last election – dollars typically ripped from workers’ paychecks in the form of forced union dues.

Big Labor is an important cog in the Left’s political machine, because in many states it’s legal for union bosses to get workers fired if they don’t want to fork over a portion of their paycheck to support the union brass’ typically radical left-wing agendas.

Trump helped realign working-class and blue-collar union voters without promising to help the union bosses.

Big Labor is looking out for the union bosses, not the workers they claim to represent.

The United Auto Workers (UAW) endorsed former Vice President Kamala Harris even though she would have wiped out the auto industry with electric vehicle mandates.

U.S. Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) is on a misguided quest to give Big Labor more power because he falsely claims it will help workers.

He introduced The Faster Labor Contracts Act alongside far-left Democrat Senator Cory Booker (D-NJ) to make it easier for union bosses to win elections by speeding up the election process.

Hawley tries to hand Big Labor and Democrats a win

The Bill Hawley is pushing would mandate that employers must begin negotiations with union bosses within 10 days of a vote going Big Labor’s way.

If no contract agreement is reached after 90 days, the dispute will go to binding arbitration handled by a mediator.

Workers and employees would be forced to accept a contract they never agreed on handed down by a third party who’s likely a far-left radical.

These “mediators” don’t have to worry about a bad contract that drives an employer out of business or gives employees the short end of the stick.

This speeds up the process of unionization to put the union bosses in control of the workplace.

Hawley justified his efforts by claiming he was helping working people.

“As conservatives, who are now benefiting from the support of working people, it’s time we deliver for them and bring into actuality this Trump realignment, this working-class realignment of the Republican Party,” Hawley said. “This is my project.”

Big Labor has a long history of actively working against the interests of the workers they claim to represent.

The Teamsters who are backing Hawley’s bill refused to endorse Trump in the last election, even after an internal poll of rank-and-file members found that nearly two-thirds supported him.

Union bosses typically back Democrat candidates who support crippling environmental regulations and taxes that would drive more blue-collar jobs to China and overseas.

Josh Hawley is supporting a bill that’s bad for workers and employers because he fundamentally misunderstands working-class voters.
