In the months leading up to the 2024 election, experts predicted that the race could get very close.
However, on Election Day, voters overwhelmingly supported Donald Trump, handing him the popular vote and a sweep of the seven major swing states.
And Jordan Peterson just called on the incoming Donald Trump administration to take action against Big Tech.
Jordan Peterson just called on Donald Trump to take action as he prepares for his second term
Donald Trump’s decisive election victory shows that the majority of Americans have grown sick and tired of the status quo.
Voters from a diverse array of backgrounds and identities flatly rejected the Biden-Harris regime and their far-left agenda.
Political experts have attributed Kamala Harris’ failure to the failures of the Biden-Harris administration, including their unpopular attacks on free speech and free press.
Earlier this year, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg even admitted to working with the Biden administration to silence Americans online in a letter to Congressman Jim Jordan (R-OH).
And whenever his employees pushed back against the demands of the White House, White House employees would often get antsy and irritated.
President-elect Donald Trump and his team have promised to immediately stop this dubious partnership, and hold government officials who participated in it accountable.
Just the other day, prolific author and psychologist Jordan Peterson called on the Donald Trump administration to take action on this front sooner rather than later.
While appearing on Fox & Friends last Wednesday, Peterson declared that, “At minimum, he should ensure that we know how the algorithms operate on social media networks and how things are promoted and how things are hidden.”
“Because the real danger, one of the real dangers that confronts us is that our discourse is going to be mediated by intelligence systems whose mechanisms are completely hidden from us,” the Canadian psychologist added.
He then went on to say, “That actually interferes with our perception, thats not just our conceptions, because what we see is pre-screened in ways that are invisible to us and increasingly automated, and that’s not that’s not a good harbinger for the future, let’s say. So transparency with regards to how things are promoted and demoted, that would be real helpful.”
As Peterson noted on Fox & Friends, these actions would allow the public to get a better idea of why they see the things they see or do not see.
Until now, social media companies have cleverly hidden material, or over promoted certain material in order to sway public opinion one way or another.
Big Tech will have some explaining to do once Donald Trump enters office again
Donald Trump and his administration have pledged to clamp down on any efforts from Big Tech and/or the federal government to deceive and silence Americans online.
As Jordan Peterson noted the other day, this means going to the very roots of how social media determines what you see or do not see.
Allowing people to understand these processes could help to bring more trust and transparency to this problem-plagued industry.
