Donald Trump continues to clean up the mess left by Joe Biden.

After nearly 50 years in politics, Biden left a gigantic mess.

And Biden was furious when he saw one resurfaced video that destroyed his legacy.

What led to the war in Ukraine

One of Donald Trump’s main campaign goals was to end the war in Ukraine.

Trump had seemingly reached a deal with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, but Zelensky inexplicably chose to blow up the deal in the Oval Office in front of the media.

The war has dragged on for over three years, and it has caused hundreds of thousands of lives.

America alone has sent over $175 billion in aid to Ukraine.

Perhaps the most infuriating thing about the war was that it could have been easily avoided.

The Washington, D.C. Swamp has tried to sell the narrative that Russian President Vladimir Putin launched the war because he’s nostalgic over the Soviet Union and wants to reconstitute the Russian Empire.

But that is war propaganda.

After the dissolution of the Soviet Union, America promised not to expand NATO east of reunified Germany.

However, NATO continued to expand all the way to Russia’s border.

Behind closed doors, Ukraine joining NATO was a nonstarter, but reckless leaders, including former Vice President Kamala Harris, kept promising that Ukraine would join NATO, which was a red line for Russia.

After Putin could not get assurances from former NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg that Ukraine would not join the military alliance, he invaded Ukraine.

None of these provocations justify Russia invading Ukraine, but they dispel the lie that the war was simply caused by wanting to rebuild the Russian Empire.

Biden bragging about NATO expansion

And the cavalier attitude regarding NATO expansion was displayed in a 1997 speech given by Joe Biden.

He laughed off Russia’s concerns about NATO, saying, “Where do they go? I had one interesting comment—our conversation with [Gennady] Zyuganov, which was repeated with [Alexander] Lebed. They talked about they don’t want this NATO expansion, they know it’s not in their security interest, and on and on. And said, well, and if you do that, we may have to look to China. And I couldn’t help using the colloquial expression for my state by saying to Zyuganov, ‘Lots of luck in your senior year.’ You know, good luck. And if that doesn’t work, try Iran. And I’m serious, I said that to them. . .and they know, I knew, they knew, everybody knows that that is not an option. And everybody knows—every one of those leaders—acknowledges and needs and they resent it, but they need, they need to look west. And the question is whether this is designed to completely shut them up, but not in terms of whether or not is a direct military security threat.”

Bill Clinton thought that expanding NATO would have no consequences even though his advisers told him the decision was foolhardy.

Meanwhile, the warmongers who want the conflict to go on forever have argued that Putin is a madman who wants to take over all of Europe.

If they honestly believed that he was so irrational and untrustworthy, they wouldn’t be escalating to the point where a nuclear exchange could be on the table.

Clinton himself said back in 2013 that Putin was a reasonable actor.

Trump needs to end the war as soon as possible in order to avert a crisis that was 30 years in the making.
