Biden-Harris administration let a terrorist into the country
The open borders policies of the Biden-Harris administration have been a disaster.
They were made worse by Joe Biden’s horrendous foreign policy.
Biden’s botched withdrawal from Afghanistan resulted in the deaths of 13 U.S. service members.
Biden stranded many Americans, but allowed unvetted Afghans to come to America.
Kamala Harris boasted that she was the last person in the room when Biden made that fateful decision to leave Afghanistan in such a disorderly way, so she shares in the blame.
Biden also tapped Harris to be the border czar, so she is doubly responsible for the resulting refugee and illegal alien crisis that followed.
And it turns out that one of the Afghans allowed into the country plotted to murder Republicans on Election Day 2024.
The Department of Justice released in a statement: “The Justice Department today announced charges against a citizen of Afghanistan residing in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, for conspiring to conduct an Election Day terrorist attack in the United States on behalf of the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS), a designated foreign terrorist organization (FTO). According to a criminal complaint filed today, Nasir Ahmad Tawhedi, 27, conspired and attempted to provide material support to ISIS and obtained firearms and ammunition to conduct a violent attack on U.S. soil in the name of ISIS. As part of the plot, the defendant allegedly took steps to liquidate his family’s assets, resettle members of his family overseas, acquire AK-47 assault rifles and ammunition, and commit a terrorist attack in the United States.”
Donald Trump won Oklahoma by 33 points in 2020, so presumably the main targets were Trump voters.
Terrorist given special immigration status
What’s even more infuriating is the fact that Tawhedi was given special visa status.
Reuters reported that Tawhedi entered “the U.S. in 2021 on a special immigrant visa. . .The Special Immigrant Visa program, which admits up to 50 people a year, is available to people who worked with the U.S. armed forces or under chief of mission authority as a translator or interpreter in Iraq or Afghanistan.”
That certainly raises a red flag.
So one of the 50 people granted special visa status was an alleged U.S. ally.
Sean Davis of The Federalist pondered, “Another CIA special, I presume. How did this Afghan man get to America in the first place, and which agency sponsored and approved his entry?”
At best, that is a terrible vetting process from the Biden-Harris administration.
At worst, someone within the intelligence agencies wanted Tawhedi in the country.
Davis continued, “What a coincidence: the murderous Afghan who wanted to kill Trump voters in a mass shooting on Election Day in Oklahoma was admitted into the U.S. in 2021 on a special visa just weeks after the catastrophically managed Afghanistan withdrawal.”
