Few Americans approved of Joe Biden during his one and only term in the White House.
Approval polls consistently showed his support in the mid-30% range, the lowest of any American President in recent memory.
Kamala Harris had similarly low approval ratings for most of her term as Vice President.
Despite Harris’ low approvals, following Biden’s catastrophic debate pulled back the curtain on his deteriorating mental state, the Democrat Party still installed Kamala Harris as their nominee, without so much as holding even a single primary.
That decision proved a dumpster fire for Democrats, as Donald Trump won all seven of the major swing states, as well as the popular vote.
Kamala Harris’ humiliating defeat has caused some on the left to reflect on what went wrong last year.
On The Warning with Steve Schmidt podcast, NBC’s former Meet the Press host Chuck Todd unleashed on Joe Biden, blaming him for Kamala Harris’ loss.
“You know, Joe Biden never should have been there in the first place, right? Number one, he shouldn’t have run for president [in 2020],” Todd boldly stated.
He then made a shocking comment about the “mythology” built up during Biden’s career.
“I have to tell you something about Joe Biden. There’s this mythology about Joe Biden, that the man cared so much, it’s all bulls–t,” Todd told Steve Schmidt and his listeners.
“I completely got so angry at Joe Biden, the man, when I read the transcript of the Hunter Biden trial, and when I realized that not one, not two, but three Biden children, and I count Beau’s widow, were all dealing with drug problems in 2018,” Todd continued.
“And Joe Biden said, ‘Now’s a perfect time to run for president, because who cares about our family?’” the flustered commentator added.
As Chuck Todd noted, many on the Left have made Joe Biden their scapegoat after failing to win the White House last year, placing the blame on Joe Biden, Jill Biden, Hunter Biden, and the rest of the Biden family for wanting to continue their seemingly corrupt family enterprise.
Others have blamed “sexism” and “racism” for preventing a “black” woman like Kamala Harris from taking office.
However, few have blamed the Democrat platform or Kamala Harris for her inability to win over voters or the Party officials who let Biden continue so long they had little time or choice but to rubber stamp her as his replacement on the ticket.

As it stands, the Democrat Party does not have a clear leader, with party members constantly bickering with each other over whom to blame for 2024.
