Americans have become much more skeptical about official narratives.

When something seems off, people are much better at sniffing out the lies.

And the investigation into Hollywood legend Gene Hackman’s death just took a shocking turn.

Incorrect timeline

The deaths of Oscar-winning actor Gene Hackman and his wife Betsy Arakawa-Hackman have sparked much intrigue.

The two were found dead next to each other in their Santa Fe, New Mexico home, along with one of their dogs.

Police ruled out a gas leak, which led some to believe there might have been foul play involved.

Fox News reported that “detectives believe that the circumstances surrounding the death of Hackman and his wife are suspicious enough in nature to require a thorough search and investigation. When two Santa Fe County patrol deputies arrived at the scene, they walked to the front of the residence and found the front door ajar. They did not observe any signs of forced entry into the home, according to the warrant.”

Authorities speculated that Arakawa-Hackman died on February 11 from the hantavirus, and Hackman, who was suffering from Alzheimer’s, was unable to call for assistance and he reportedly died on February 18.

However, the timeline of events was thrown off by Arakawa-Hackman’s doctor.

He claimed that she called him on February 12, which means that she could not have died on the 11th.

Dr. Josiah Child told The Daily Mail, “Mrs Hackman didn’t die on February 11 because she called my clinic on February 12. She’d called me a couple of weeks before her death to ask about getting an echocardiogram [heart scan] for her husband. She was not a patient of mine, but one of my patients recommended Cloudberry to her. She made an appointment for herself for February 12. It was for something unrelated to anything respiratory.”

Child explained that she canceled the appointment on February 10, but called back.

He continued, “She called back on the morning of February 12 and spoke to one of our doctors who told her to come in that afternoon. We made her an appointment but she never showed up. She did not show any symptoms of respiratory distress. The appointment wasn’t for anything related to hantavirus. We tried calling her a couple of times with no reply.”

Questions about cause of death

If Child is to be believed, that raises doubts about her being acutely ill from hantavirus at the time she called.

Child added, “I am not a hantavirus expert but most patients who have that diagnosis die in hospital. It is surprising that Mrs Hackman spoke to my office on the phone on February 10 and again on February 12 and didn’t appear in respiratory distress.”

According to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC): “People get hantavirus from contact with rodents like rats and mice, especially when exposed to their urine, droppings, and saliva. It can also spread through a bite or scratch by a rodent, but this is rare.”

It seems strange that a wealthy woman described as a “fitness fanatic” would not only contract hantavirus, but not seek medical attention before it got life-threatening.

Child also stated, “I don’t know whether it was because she was focusing on her husband or because it was a rapidly progressive disease, or she was just one of those people that didn’t really feel a lot of discomfort. No one will ever know. . .But for some reason she didn’t recognize that she was becoming very ill with the second phase of Hantavirus, which invades the lungs.”

Investigators are still working to nail down the timeline of her death.

A Los Angeles-based doctor also found the death strange.

He told The Daily Mail, “Respiratory failure is not sudden – it is something that worsens over several days. Most people get admitted to the ER [emergency room] because they are having trouble breathing. It’s exceedingly rare for a seemingly healthy 65-year-old to drop dead of it. In fact, no one’s heard of such a thing.”

The investigation into the Hackman deaths continues.
